1 RULES
1.1 The rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS).
1.2 The Australian Sailing Special Regulation Part 2 Off the Beach Boats will apply. [DP]
1.3 Arbitration will be conducted in accordance with RRS Appendix T.
2 ADVERTISING
Boats may be required to display advertising chosen and supplied by the organising authority. If this rule is broken, World Sailing Regulation 20.9.2 applies. [DP]
3 ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY
3.1 The regatta is open to all off the beach boats. Including;
Optimist Intermediate, Optimist Open, Open Skiff, Bic Techno, Bic Techno Plus, Pacer, 420, Laser 4.7, Laser Radial, Laser Standard, Finn, 29er, 505, Sharpie, Hobie 16, F18, Flying Fifteen, SB20, Viper, Etchell and Wind foil
3.2 Eligible boats may enter by completing the online entry form HERE
3.3 The following restrictions on the number of boats apply: 3.3.1 A minimum of 3 entries is required to constitute a fleet.

3.5 All participants must be current financial members of an Australian Sailing affiliated club.
3.6 All Wind foil competitors that are not current financial member of an Australian Sailing affiliated club are required to be a current financial member of Windsurfing Western Australia (WWA).

5.2 Daily Schedule

5.3 No warning signal will be made after 1300 hrs.
5.4 A maximum of 4 races shall be completed on any race day.
6 SAILING INSTRUCTION
The sailing instructions will be available on the event website closer to the event.
7 VENUE
7.1 The Fremantle Sailing Club Dinghy Clubhouse and adjacent rigging areas will be the regatta venue.
7.2 Racing will be conducted in the waters adjacent to Success Harbour Fremantle Sailing Club.
8 THE COURSES
The courses will be available in the Sailing Instructions.
9 PENALTY
9.1 RRS 44.1 is changed so that the Two-Turns Penalty is replaced by the One-Turn Penalty.

10 SCORING
10.1 The Low Point Scoring system RRS A4.1 will apply.
10.2 Three races are required to be completed to constitute a series.
10.3 10.3.1 When fewer than 5 races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores. 10.3.2 When from 5 to 7 races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores excluding her worst score. 10.3.3 When 8 or more races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores excluding her two worst scores.
11 SUPPORT BOAT
11.1 All support boats shall register online HERE
12 RADIO COMMUNICATIONS
Except in an emergency, a boat that is racing shall not make voice or data transmissions and shall not receive voice or data communication that is not available to all boats. [DP]
13 PRIZES
Prizes will be awarded at the discretion of the organising authority.
14 DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. See RRS 3, Decision to Race. The organising authority will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta.
15 INSURANCE
Each participating boat shall be insured with valid third-party liability insurance with a minimum cover of AUD $10,000,000 per incident or the equivalent.
