While The Rose Tattoo is the most digestible and the headlinerthe other two, Camino Real and Orpheus Descending had redeeming value. Camino Real was The Rose Tattoo and Other Plays: Camino Real,Orpheus Descending difficult but had some interesting points, and I liked Orpheus Descending for the characters and I could relate to Val the guitar player with the snakeskin jacket; and he discovers the dark secrets of the society enters and brings new life to the town and Lady. The medical examiner's report indicated that he choked to death on the cap from a bottle of eye drops he frequently used. Contrary to his expressed wishes but at his brother Dakin's insistence, Williams was interred in the Calvary Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri. Williams had long told his friends he wanted to be buried at sea at approximately the same place as Hart Crane, a poet he considered to be one of his most significant influences.
