Next Section Trip Spring Trip - 28-29th September 19-20 October – Nigel & Beatrice (venue to be confirmed) AGM – Wednesday 16th Thursday 17th October – followed by a talk from Kieran Parsons 7.00pm at the Sherwood – Queenstown Indoor climbing - Basecamp Adventures, Queenstown - NOW OPEN Admission: $22 NZAC member $25 non-NZAC member Basecamp Adventures has opened a new indoor climbing centre in Queenstown. The new centre offers both technical climbing routes as well as indoor entertainment in the form of Clip ‘n Climb. The new facility includes lead and top-rope climbing and bouldering and NZ’s only speed climbing wall – making it the first wall in New Zealand to cover all three Olympic disciplines. The 250m2 bouldering wall is one of the largest in NZ and includes a 25m traverse wall, huge cave and LED Moonboard. The Sport wall has 40+ climbs spread over 15 ropes (including one auto-belay) and grades 12-25+. Clip n Climb offers hour-long sessions on individually themed climbing challenges provide exciting active entertainment for everyone.
