I am personally excited about this Championships and sure this will be an enjoyable one. We must remember that our younger athletes are 70% of our competitive landscape, of our activity, so we must protect, promote and nourish them and their development and growth as a strategic priority of WAKO. They are essence of our future. This gives me great joy, because the WAKO Europe family has proven that the pandemic and these hardships – even if only with our collaborative efforts – can be overcomed. We have proven that if we work together, we can achieve so that our athletes will not be left without a true, serious competition. I would like to thank every athlete who, despite the pandemic, fought and trained through the hard times, training outdoors under the sky, or at home or in their small rooms, but never giving up. These athletes never lost hope and no matter the hardships, they still believed in kickboxing and kept kickboxing alive. Thanks to this incredible effort, we can finally meet again and our athletes can finally do what they are truly good at, which is to compete in this wonderful competition, the European Championship. I warmly invite everyone to this competition. With much enthusiasm, I am looking forward to seeing each other in person again, be it athletes, coaches, referees, officials, presidents, general secretaries or simply the fans of the kickboxin sport. The venue Mediterranean Sport Center (City Sport Hall) is very suitable for this kind of championships and I am sure we will fulfill all WAKO standards. Young generations now are eglible for the success even more then we were in the previous times. Nowadays they have better enturage for training and competition. What we have to nurture is their will and passion for success, their capability for determination, for resilience and perservance. To nurture their winning mentality in WAKO. CURRENCY The official tender in Montenegro is EURO. Money may be exchanged in all banks and post offices, as well as in authorized exchange offices.

BANKS AND CARDS Cash may be taken from ATMs installed in all major malls, bank branch offices and in public places 365 days in a year, 24 hours a day.

TAXI The passenger is only required to pay for taxi services according to the current price list and for the amountindicated by the taxi meter at the end of the journey. Negotiating a price for taxi services, where the taxi meter is not switched on, is not recommended, especially at the airport.The cost of the taxi ride also includes the transport of the passenger's personal baggage. Personal baggage includes travel bags and suitcases not exceeding 20 kg in weight per passenger and 50 kg in total, in the case there are several passengers.

ELECTRICITY Like in most cities of Continental Europe, the electricity voltage in Montenegro is 220V. Electrical outlets are standard European.

WATER Tab water in Budva is safe to drink. You can drink it from the fountain or you can buy water in the bottles.

General personal measures connected to the COVID-19 pandemic

- Be sure to wear a protective face mask properly (wearing of a protective mask means wearing the mask so it covers nose and mouth) and keep a physical distance from other persons (at least two meters between persons who are not members of the same household) in open and closed space. - Wash your hands with soap and water and use hand sanitizers. - The presence of spectators at sports events is prohibited. - Mandatory PCR test for participation at the Championships. - Mandatory insurance covering COVID-19 as well. GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR TRAVELLING TO MONTENEGRO

GENERAL VISA CONDITIONS Before planning the trip of your team, please check wheter you need visa to enter Montenegro, despite the fact that country has very liberal visa protocols.Visa applications should be submited to the Embassy or Consulate General of the Republic of Montenegro in your country.

GENERAL VISA REQUREMENTS: - Valid passport (passport must be valid at least 90 days from issue date of visa) - Letter of invitation (will be sent from Kickboxing federation of Montenegro after fulfilling and sending Appendix 2) - Completed visa application (formulary will be given in the Embassy or Consulate in your country) - Photo size 3,5x4,5 - Return ticket or itinerary (copy of Driving License and Insurance if you travel by car); - Proof of sufficient funds for staying in Montenegro - Health insurance - Visa fee.

1. NOTE: A visa is required for holders of emergency travel documents and travel documents for refugees of all countries.

2. NOTE: If underage children are travelling with a third person, it is necessary to submit a relevant certified authorization from the parents or guardian.

3. NOTE: Throughout your stay in Montenegro, you are cautioned to take good care of your passport. Should your passport be lost or damaged, you are advised to immediately contact the nearest diplomatic or consular mission of your country in Montenegro. It is strongly advised to have a photocopy of the passports of all team members!

Arrival of the teams MUST be on 5/6th November 2021.

4. NOTE: For the teams who are arriving to Budva by plane, the organizer will provide buses for the transport from , Podgorica or Airport to the headquarters for registration which is in the Jadran Fair Hall. This service can be arranged by fulfilling and enclosing APPENDIX 5 of The Invitation Letter. Airport transfer reservations will be charged separately including both directions (arrival at airport/Jadran Fair Hall for registration /airport for departure). Please be aware of the different time needed to have in advance for the departure from three different airports: Tivat (Montenegro) 2 hours, Podgorica (Montenegro) 3 hours, Dubrovnik (Croatia) 5 hours. Payment will be charged in the final invoice for the accommodation or at the spot during registration. For the teams who are arriving to Budva by bus or by car, they go directly to Jadran Fair Hall for registration and accreditation, and then to chosen hotel.

ALL participants MUST be accommodated in the hotels of the official ACCOMODATION OFFER of the event which are in the Invitation Letter. No team will be accepted otherwise.

Each participant is obliged to have minimum 7 days accommodation package.

The prices in all hotels are based on the FULL BOARD (breakfast, lunch, dinner).

Accommodation availabilities and prices are guaranteed until 20th August 2021.

The deadline for payment of the deposit of 50% of total accommodation cost is 7 days from the day you have received the proforma invoice. In the case you didn't execute the payment within time, your reservation will be considered CANCELED and will be available for further reservations.

- For cancellations occurring before 20th August there is no cancellation fee

- For cancellations occurring between 20th August and 20th September 2021, it is possible to cancel ONLY 20% of the numbers of persons which belong to one reservation number, free of charge

- For cancellations occurring between 20th September and 20th October 2021, ONLY 10% of the number of persons which belong to one reservation number can be cancelled, free of charge.

- Cancellations made from 26th October 2021 are subject TO NO REFUND.

For the countries which need visa to enter Montenegro, to get invitation letter from the Organizer, it is mandatory to have the composition of the team and to make the reservation of the preferable hotel from the list in the Invitation letter IN ADVANCE. Due to that, you need to fulfil and send all the APPENDIX (1,2,3 and 4) at the same time, not later than 20th July 2021. After confirming your reservation of the hotel, you can expect Invitation letter from the Organizer.

STEP 1: Deadline 20th July 2021 Fulfill the APPENDIX 1, APPENDIX 2, APPENDIX 3 and APPENDIX 4 and send us back AT THE SAME TIME to [email protected] email. Fulfill all participants, specifying names, surnames, date of birth, passport numbers, issue/expiry dates and status (ex: chief delegation, athlete, coach, referee…), choose exact hotel and mark the composition of the rooms you will be needed, fulfill the exact date and time of the arrive and departure. Minimum 7 days of accommodation package is mandatory for all persons. Based on this, you will get invitation letter from the Event organizer which will be the document for issuing visas for your team in the Embassy of Montenegro in your country.

STEP 2: Deadline 30th July 2021 You are obliged to inform the Organizer if the process of issuing visas has concluded successfully. In case NO, your reservations of the hotel will be cancelled with no penalty. In the case YES, you will proceed with the reservation and payment in separately communication with the Organizer. All communication should be at email [email protected].

STEP 3: Deadline 31th July 2021 After the organizer send you the invoice for the payment of the full amount for the accommodation, you will be obliged to pay 50% price in 7 days and IN THAT CASE ONLY your reservation will be considered as finished. Payment of the additional 30% of total accommodation cost must be until 24th September 2021. STEP 6: Deadline 4th October 2021 Payment of the Invoice for the aerport transport based on APPENDIX 5, in the full ammount (travel costs: airport - HQ for registration - airport).

FINAL STEP: Deadline 26th October 2021 Final confirmation of booking and total payment should be executed not later than 26th October 2021. After the organizer send you the proforma invoice for the payment of the full amount, you will be obliged to pay 50% price within deadline 6th August the and IN THAT CASE ONLY your reservation will be considered as finished. STEP 3: Deadline 20th August 2021

OFFICIAL SAFETY EQUIPMENT BRAND: The official safety equipment supplier of the event is TOP TEN and ADIDAS.

INSURANCE: All participants MUST HAVE full personal accident issuance (for ATHLETE INSURANCE mandatory) including COVID-19 coverage from their own NF/country. WAKO, Kickboxing Federation of Montenegro, The Organizing Committees and officers of the WAKO European Kickboxing Championships for Cadets & Juniors Budva 2021 will not be financially responsible for ANY possible injuries caused during the competition. Each country must provide adequate insurance including COVID-19 of their members to compete and attend the event. It is the responsibility of the Chief of Delegation of each participating team.

REGISTRATION & ACCREDITATION: All REGISTRATION, ACCREDITATION, WEIGH-IN & MEDICAL CONTROL, will take place in Jadran Fair Hall in Budva as indicated at the official information. All athlete registration must be done ONLY ONLINE at SPORTDATA Online registration. During registration it is MANDATORY to upload 1 photo (passport photo) to EVERY PARTICIPANT!

Times for check-in, weigh-in and registration are specified in the program. Participating federations must arrive and check-in within the time limits of the check- in and registration. Accreditation is a personal document and is strictly forbidden to give it to the other persons. Once accredited, it is mandatory to have your accreditation with you all days of the Championships and is obliged to show it to the relevant security authorities in the sport hall. OTHER INFORMATION

TRANSPORTATION

1. Airport-hotel transfer reservations will be charged separately: - 30€ per person both directions (airport/hotel/airport) – - 40€ per person both directions (airport/hotel/airport) – Podgorica airport - 50€ per person both directions (airport/hotel/airport) – Dubrovnik airport Payment will be charged in the final invoice for the accommodation or at the spot, as mentioned before. 2. Shuttle bus service between the official hotel “Splendid” and the venue of the event will be provided for all the guests staying in the hotel Splendid. Schedule will be announced on time.

LIABILITY

Neither The Event Organizing Committee, nor Kickboxing Federation of Montenegro (nor any of its officials or members) will be liable or responsible for any personal injury nor for any loss or damage to your property arising out of your participation and travelling in connection with this event. We recommend that team responsible persons take good care of the passports and values of the whole team. If the loss of the property happens in the sport hall, immediately go to the Organizing Committee desk and report to the security officers.

ANTI-DOPING:

It is strictly forbidden to take any illegal stimulants that are against the rules of the WAKO Anti-Doping Regulations. WAKO will have anti-doping tests on randomly chosen participants during the entire event. Each participant found positive by the test, will be sanctioned according to the WAKO General Rules and the WADA Code. Anti-doping control will be provided with medical teams of Anti- doping Agency of Montenegro. IMPORTANT: COVID 19 - PROCEDURES

Following the instructions issued by the WAKO Medical Commission and the regulations of the world and national Health Protection Bodies, covering the VIRUS Corona pandemic situation, it is recommended to keep yourself constantly informed about the Protocols that will be implemented for the benefit of everyone's health. The Organizer will publish Updates every month and send directly to all European WAKO members before the Championships. Considering the time required for the smooth running of the competition and assessed the impossibility of disinfection of personal protections (Gloves, Shin Guards, Footwear) in exceptional derogation to the Regulations in use, we hereby inform you that THE PROTECTIONS TO BE USED IN THE CHAMPIONSHIPS MUST BE PERSONAL.

1. All equipment that will be used must be WAKO Platinum brands only: Top Ten and Adidas

2. Possibly Red or Blue; 3. For the clear distinction of the Blue or Red angle, reference will be made to the helmet (which is made of easily disinfectant and non- transmissible material).
