  • Hendrick Automotive Group Announces 2020 Leadership Team Transitions
OR IMMEDIATE RELEASE HENDRICK AUTOMOTIVE GROUP ANNOUNCES 2020 LEADERSHIP TEAM TRANSITIONS CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Jan. 8, 2020) – Hendrick Automotive Group chairman Rick Hendrick has assumed the role of chief executive officer following the planned retirement of president and CEO Edward J. Brown III. Hendrick, who founded the company in 1976, retains the title and responsibilities of chairman. In addition, longtime corporate advisor and legal counsel Gregory H. Gach has been named president of Hendrick Automotive Group, reporting to Hendrick. The transitions became effective on Jan. 1. Brown’s decision to retire after nearly a decade with Hendrick Automotive Group was made in early 2019 and announced internally in November. He joined the Charlotte-based company in May 2010 as chief financial officer and became CEO on Jan. 1, 2011. Brown, 71, was previously president of global corporate and investment banking for Bank of America, where he retired in 2004. “Not only did Ed help us navigate historically complex issues, he led our company to significant growth and multiple years of record revenue, including 2019,” Hendrick said. “Notably, his passion for expanding our corporate social responsibility programs has left an indelible mark on our culture and the communities we serve. We are grateful for his many contributions and wish him the very best in his well-earned retirement. Ed leaves our organization in an exceptional place.” Although Gach officially joined Hendrick Automotive Group in July 2018 as special consultant, he has been affiliated with the company for more than 30 years. He was the corporate attorney for Hendrick Automotive Group and its sister company, 12-time NASCAR Cup Series champions Hendrick Motorsports, along with serving as Hendrick’s personal attorney and strategic advisor.

  • 11 Electric Vehicle Stocks to Buy for 2021
INVESTOR PLACE 11 ELECTRIC VEHICLE STOCKS TO BUY FOR 2021 LUKE LANGO How to turn the electric disruption of transportation into your million-dollar opportunity When it comes to identifying next-generation breakthrough investments that could rise 100%, 200%, 500%, or more, I always come back to one saying. Where there’s disruption, there’s opportunity. Case-in-point: The internet. Throughout the 1990s, the emergence of the internet rapidly disrupted how people across the globe worked, communicated, and played. For many, it was a scary time. Change is never easy. For many more, it was an exciting time, as the internet was unlocking a new world of possibilities. But… for investors… it was an opportunity. Specifically, it was a once-in-a-decade opportunity to invest early in emerging titans of the internet industry. Like Amazon (AMZN)… when it was a $438 million company in 1997… It’s a $1.6 TRILLION company today – representing a whopping 365,000% return. That means a mere $1,000 investment in Amazon in 1997 would be worth more than $3.6 million today. 2 Luke Lango’s Hypergrowth Investing Need I say more? Where there’s disruption, there’s opportunity – and the bigger the disruption, the bigger the opportunity. Right now, we are on the cusp of an enormous disruption. This disruption will fundamentally and entirely change the world’s multi-trillion-dollar transportation work. In its wake, it will create new hundred-billion-dollar titans of the auto industry – most of whom are just tiny companies today. What disruption am I talking about specifically? The shift toward electric vehicles.
