A masterpiece quilt created by Sharon was raffled with phenomenal success, with nearly 4000 tickets purchased by people from throughout South Australia, Australia and even overseas. The raffle was drawn by visionary Jamestown community member Robert Stacey, who was the driving force behind establishment of the Jamestown Presents a 3 COURSE DINNER Hydrotherapy Pool in 2003. Saturday Oct 19th | 7pm for 7.30pm Also in attendance at the raffle drawing were Malcolm and Margaret Sparks, Sir Hubert Wilkins Building who generously donated the land the hydro pool is located on, plus a large contingent of Burra Quilters and Hydrotherapy Pool committee members. Sharon, who donated more than 350 hours of time to create the quilt, spoke about the importance of the local hydrotherapy facility to her own health and with GUEST SPEAKER that of many others.
