These are just some of the goods that arrived at Liverpool’s docks. In the nineteenth century, 40 per cent of the world’s trade passed through Liverpool. Though Liverpool’s port employs less people today, the city still has a proud maritime industry. On this walk we will find out more about the different products shipped from around the world.
