Global Markets in Buy Breakout, Nifty Will Rise Market Scuffling At 9100 Wednesday, April 15, 2020 As discussed in the Webinar, if S&P 500 goes above 2700 and Nifty above 9100, then one should think of buying. Currently, S&P500 is trading at 2800 and Nifty has opened at 9196 (gap up by 200 points). Today is a crucial day as S&P is trading above the given points, but one should wait till the European Markets open (13:30pm). If Nifty crosses its 1st half’s high, only then one should think of buying or wait another day for a confirmed buying signal. Among the Major Sectors, Pharma has shown a growth of more than 19% since 3rd of April. Sectors like Fertilizers, Chemical, Cement & Cement Products have also shown a growth of more than 17%, 14% and 13% respectively. As far as Minor Sectors are concerned, Carbo and Telecom are among the top performers with a growth of more than 20% each. On the Global front, Hang Seng has opened at 24481 and made a high of 24600, which is 150 points more than its previous day close. Nikkei has opened at 19530, which is below its previous day close of 19638, the day high for the Index being 19652.
