The first official Arctic Caucus Leadership Forum took place in Barrow, Alaska in December 2010, and was attended by over 40 delegates from state, territory, provincial public and private sector organizations as well as US and Canadian federal governments. In August, 2012, 75 delegates met in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories for a 3 day session which developed 16 Action Items for the Arctic Caucus.
