The Graduate Report includes data on student’s employment and About the Data continuing education status, salary information and state of residence. It also includes numbers of internships, names of employers who hired UNI graduates, organizations who came to campus and UNI Career Services requested post‐ a broad array of information on our departmental activities. It represents the work of the dedicated graduation information from all students professionals in Career Services, along with our wonderful Peer Advisors, and their commitment to who applied for graduation in December the mission of UNI Student Affairs, “We help students succeed.” 2007, May 2008, and August 2008. Programs) After graduating from UNI, 77% of students who were employed 34% Graduate College stayed in Iowa , and for those who chose to continue their education, 63% stayed in Iowa. Occupied, Not Seeking The post‐graduation plans of UNI students is diverse and exciting. At UNI, the classification of “Occupied, Not Seeking” means that the graduate has secured employment or other career opportunities and is no longer seeking, or is continuing their education. For 2007‐2008, 73% of UNI graduates are employed, starting a business, or other employment plans and 12% have enrolled in gradu‐ pportunity ate and professional programs. The rate of 85% is a 12% increase over Fields of O the previous year.
