7 PM – 8.30 PM Exclusive guided visit to La Pedrera / Nov – Feb Transfer to la Pedrera on your own (Easily by taxi) La Pedrera is one of the best-known works of the architect Gaudí, and is one of the symbols of Barcelona. It was built between 1906 and 1912, and consists of a succession of stone walls on the outside, while the interior has two painted courtyards, columns and a range of rooms. There are large windows and iron balconies set into the undulating façade. On the roof, meanwhile, there are chimneys and sculptures which are works of art in themselves, as well as a splendid view of the Paseo de Gràcia Avenue. The building has been declared a World Heritage, and is the pinnacle of Modernist techniques and tendencies. Antoni Gaudí is one of the world’s most renowned architects, and a trip to Barcelona must include a visit of at least one of his famed modernist buildings, of which La Pedrera (or Casa Milà) is one of the most well-known and the second most visited museum in Barcelona. During the calm hours at sunset, this intimate and private tour will unveil to you the building's secrets not seen on daytime visits. See how residents lived in this beautiful building 100 years ago; visit several rooms; and enjoy outstanding views of La Sagrada Familia and the Barcelona skyline from the roof.

Your after-hours tour of La Pedrera starts in the residential building in the Provenca street courtyard. Hear about the building’s most significant features and see a display of the elements that inspired Gaudí’s design. Look through the windows and watch the first shadow projection – a scene depicting the life of La Pedrera’s doorman and his family, who lived in the building. Then continue to the balcony to admire the building’s beautiful elements, such as the pillars structures, open floor plan and large openings on the façade. Here, watch another projection depicting Pere Milà (the man for whom La Pedrera was built) preparing for dinner. Next, follow your tour guide to the fourth floor to see the apartment rented by a bourgeois gentleman – an apartment characterized by well-decorated rooms of irregular shapes. Learn about the daily life and cultural aspects of the early 20th century from your guide as you visit another apartment; then visit the loft, which servants used to do the laundry, as another projection will show you.

Continue up to the roof and wander under the catenary arches typical of Gaudí. See how the architect used the technological innovations of the time to create geometrical spaces inspired by nature. Admire the famous sculptures known as the Soldiers that overlook the city, and take in views of La Sagrada Familia and the twinkling Barcelona skyline from the attic.

Finally, head back down to the courtyard to end your tour with a glass of Champagne. **There may be other small groups also visiting la Pedrera (but not at the same time as your visit, you may see them at the beginning or at the end of your tour) Nov to Feb: Visits from 7 PM to 10:30 PM / Last visit: 9 PM (Wed - Saturday) March to Oct: Visits from 8:30 PM to midnight / Last visit: 10:30 PM (All week)

MEAM’s aim is to find a new contemporary language that does not deny tradition but evolves from it to delve into the new century. The Foundation organizes the Figurative Paint and Sculpture Awards on a yearly basis, an opportunity for contemporary figurative artists to show their art to the world. One of MEAM’s differentiating characteristics is its support to figurative artists. Usually these pieces of art are not on show in other museums, foundations or institutions.

1.30 PM - 3.30 PM Private guided visit to Casa Lleo i Morera closed to the public / OR 7 PM - 9 PM Private guided visit to Casa Lleo i Morera closed to the public / Monday to Saturday The architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner was commissioned by Francesca Morera i Ortiz to work on the Lleó i Morera House in 1902. On Passeig de Gràcia, 35 (Barcelona) there was an old building, called Casa Rocamora, built in 1864 by master builder Joaquim Sitjas. Lluís Domènech i Montaner designed a complete remodel of the existing house using a variety of materials. The project lasted until 1906. Francesca Morera i Ortiz inherited that building from her uncle, Antoni Morera i Busó, but she died before seeing the finished work. It was her son, Albert Lleó i Morera, who took charge of the house, giving it the name by which it is known today, Casa Lleó i Morera.

Lluís Domènech i Montaner remodeled the previous building, making it a truly modernist work of art. The house’s owner commissioned him to demolish and rebuild the façade, add three galleries and stone balconies on the different floors, and to design the interior. In order to complete this modernist piece of work, the architect was surrounded by a large group of master artists and craftsmen who were renowned for their creativity, like the sculptor Eusebi Arnau, mosaicist Mario Maragliano and cabinetmaker Gaspar Homar, among others. The façade and the mezzanine were decorated with different types of ornamentation, of which the sculptures by Eusebi Arnau depicting two couples of female figures were the most notable, although they were destroyed in a remodel of the house's ground floor in 1943. On the façade are repeated allusions to the family's surname Morera (which means mulberry in English) represented through the use of different materials, and symbols of 20th century inventions. The façade is crowned by a tempietto that exceeds the height permitted by the Barcelona City Council, so the builders had to ask for the necessary construction permit. An explosion of modernism is found in the interior, which is one of the best preserved in the city: stained-glass windows, mosaics, ceramics, sculpture, wood, marble, sgraffito... The vestibule and staircase show us the different modernist applied arts that the artists and craftsmen were able to create based on the architect's ideas and instructions.

1 PM - 4 PM Private guided visit to when closed to the public + lunch This amazing building, the Casa Amatller by Puig i Cadafalch, a contemporary of Gaudí, which combines the neo-Gothic style with a ridged façade inspired by houses in the Netherlands, is part of the block known as the “mansana de la discòrdia” of Barcelona. The architect worked with some of the finest artists and craftsmen in Barcelona of the modersnista times, headed by the sculptors Eusebi Arnau and Alfons Jujol. The Casa Amatller, together with the adjacent Casa Batlló, designed by Gaudí, and the Casa Lleó Morera, by Domènech i Montaner, is part of the "mansana de la discòrdia" or block of discord of Barcelona, so-named because it features buildings in sharply contrasting styles. Curiously, none of these houses was newly built; all three of them are refurbishments of already existing buildings, the Casa Amatller being the first. The original building was constructed by Antoni Robert in 1875, and in 1898 the Amatller family commissioned the Catalan architect and politician (1867- 1956) to refurbish the building. The current building dates from his "rose” or modernista period, which includes buildings such as the Casa Macaya and the , the House of Spikes. The architect based his design on the typical Catalan mansion and incorporated Germanic elements. In the case of the Casa Amatller of Barcelona, the basic layout is the typical urban Gothic dwelling. This means that what is really a block of flats looks like a single palazzo, an impression accentuated by the delicate porticoes on the balconies on the first floor. The Germanic element is the bold ridged cornice, highlighted with ceramic tiles. You can visit the caretaker’s office, which has survived intact and contains one of the finest stained-glass windows of the modernista era. On the ground floor there is a gallery staging temporary exhibitions. Enjoy a special lunch served at Mr. Amatller’s dining table

The Palau de la Música Catalana is an architectural jewel of Catalan , the only concert venue in this style to be listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO (4th December 1997), which today represents an essential landmark in the cultural and social life of Catalonia. Moreover, it represents a symbolic emotional heritage for a whole people who identify with its history. The building is designed around a central metal structure covered in glass, which exploits natural light to make the make Domènech i Montaner's masterpiece into a magical music box which brings together all the decorative arts: sculpture, mosaic, stained glass and ironwork.
