Some of the things Sig did as a child surprised me since it seems that Sig was a bit uptight. But a couple years now after the book was written, and Catch fans know that's not the case. Also, the way the narrative switches from his dad's story, to the boys' past, to the future can leave you feeling a bit disjointed at times, but he does a good job of letting you know whose past they're in. Diving into the Hansen family history stretching back to Norway, Sig Hansen leads you through the family's journey from Norway to America and their emergence as one of the most well-known fishing families in America. Overall enjoyable read. It syncs automatically with your account and allows you to read online or offline wherever you are. So I did. At the end of the season, I got my first official paycheck. North by Northwestern came out a year later than the Time Bandit book, and in many ways seems to copy the Time Bandit. Error rating book. I had discovered my ambition: I wanted to be a fisherman — and a man — like my father. The book is a nice tribute to his father and his family's heritage. I really enjoyed learning about their father and their backstories before Deadliest Catch.
