THE ExcisE OFFICE is at the Lamb Inn, Hospital street. This inn is much frequented by the farmers on the market-day. There is an excellent bowling-green connected with the Bowling-Green Tavern, situate in Monks lane. The Salt Water Baths are sitnate on Snow Hill; Mr. Thomas Townley, proprietor. THE UNION HousE, situated upon Beam Heath, is a. spacious brick building, erected for the accommodation of 350 inmates.
