Been going for years. We’re disappointed that the sister bay marina fest 8/23/2020 5:20 PM is cancelled but we understand and will still be coming up over Labor Day weekend! 6 we have been to door county several times and never get tired or bored with it, it is beautiful 8/23/2020 4:31 PM and people are so friendly and restaurants have the best food 7 We have been taking an annual trip every fall for the last 6 years with family from a different 8/23/2020 3:15 PM state. Door County offers us many options of things to do that fit our needs. 8 Love Door County 8/23/2020 3:00 PM 9 This is the first year I won't be camping because of the Corona Virus. 8/23/2020 2:41 PM 10 Thank you for practicing safety as far as Covid 19 is concerned! I look forward to our visit! 8/23/2020 11:26 AM 11 stayed away from the beaches this year - they were too crowded 8/23/2020 11:06 AM 12 None 8/23/2020 9:51 AM 13 The State of Wisconsin’s policies (reopening too soon and not requiring face masks) are the 8/23/2020 7:18 AM main reason I don’t feel safe in Door County 14 Miss You! 8/22/2020 10:47 PM 15 can’t wait to come!!! 8/22/2020 9:07 PM 16 Can’t wait until it’s safe to return! I miss the Door!! Usually come at least twice a year, and it 8/22/2020 8:25 PM has now been 17 months since our last visit 17 Can't wait to come. My annual delivery is in early September...my 8/22/2020 3:54 PM 15th consecutive year. We usually stay a few more days to relax and enjoy the Door, but because of the virus we will only stay the two nights! 22 My husband and I love coming to Door County every year to get away from the normal rush of 8/22/2020 2:43 PM life. Everyone is so very kind to us and we feel so welcomed there. It is the only trip we can afford every year and like to call it our Home Away From Home. 23 I don’t believe everybody has to wear a face mask. If you are sick you need to take care of 8/22/2020 2:38 PM yourself and stay home but if you are healthy and clean and sanitary you should be fine. 24 I love Door County. Favorite relaxation destination 8/22/2020 2:13 PM 25 we love door county! 8/22/2020 1:41 PM 26 Stay affordable, small townships like Door County appeal to visitors because of the affordable, 8/22/2020 1:08 PM small town culture. Price gouging is tacky. 27 Love our visits to Door County 8/22/2020 12:27 PM 28 We stayed recently at the Hillside Inn in Ephraim, our first trip since early March. The staff 8/22/2020 12:00 PM followed all the CDC guidelines and more to make us feel safe and comfortable. 29 We went with our party if 6 in August and will be back at the end of September/early October. 8/22/2020 10:28 AM 30 We use to have a home there until moving too far away to take care of it. We loved being able 8/22/2020 8:26 AM Destination Door County Travel Sentiment Survey Data collected August 18-23, 2020 2 / 79 Travel Sentiment Visitor Survey – August 2020 SurveyMonkey to be away from crowds of people and walk/hike/bike and just relax with nature around us. And I liked the shopping! 31 The relaxing feel that you get in Door County! 8/22/2020 7:57 AM 32 While I disagree with the mask mandate, I respect the challenges small businesses go through 8/22/2020 7:51 AM with this virus and will put the small business ahead of myself. 33 We stay in a hotel when we come because there is no room in camp grounds to bring our 8/22/2020 7:46 AM trailer : ((( We’ve been on waiting lists for a couple years now . 34 I love Door Co 8/22/2020 6:33 AM 35 We've experienced door county on several occasions and always leave with a commentment 8/22/2020 5:59 AM to return soon. A great family destination. Love the area! 36 I would like to win a free trip since I haven’t had a vacation in 5 years. 8/21/2020 10:30 PM 37 party on. 8/21/2020 8:46 PM 38 Due to having most public restrooms closed at least having businesses allow for public usage 8/21/2020 8:10 PM without feeling awkward. 39 Looking forward to our trip!!! 8/21/2020 7:01 PM 40 Love Door County, visit every year! 8/21/2020 6:50 PM 41 Door County is one of my favorite places in the world. 8/21/2020 6:49 PM 42 enjoy end of season sales and xmas things 8/21/2020 6:45 PM 43 Love you all. We LOVE Door County! 49 I miss Door County 8/21/2020 4:48 PM 50 We only visited Door County this summer because the county had a mask mandate in place 8/21/2020 4:31 PM and our resort has accommodations with a kitchen. 51 We have already visited 2x this year--in June & August. We always felt safety procedures 8/21/2020 4:12 PM were being followed. We will be back again this fall! 52 can't wait to see you guys up there, funtastic 8/21/2020 3:50 PM 53 win this gift certificate 8/21/2020 3:15 PM 54 I miss visiting Door County this summer and hope things will be back to normal by next 8/21/2020 3:13 PM summer. 55 We have been coming to Door County every year for almost 20 years now. It's become a 8/21/2020 2:31 PM special getaway place for us. 56 Hope the day comes sooner than later 8/21/2020 2:15 PM 57 DC is my favorite place to vacation. 8/21/2020 2:00 PM 58 I LOVE Door County! Would love to win gift certificates. One of the reasons I haven't been 8/21/2020 1:41 PM able to visit recently is very tight finances. 59 we love Door County! 8/21/2020 1:28 PM 60 I have always had a good time when in Door County. And I do love that I can drive there 8/21/2020 1:04 PM anytime I want when time allows. Next year I WILL come in summer. Missed it this year. Destination Door County Travel Sentiment Survey Data collected August 18-23, 2020 3 / 79 Travel Sentiment Visitor Survey – August 2020 SurveyMonkey 61 Door County is the best! Thank you for making it a great place to visit over and over again. 8/21/2020 12:55 PM 62 Luv Door County, I like the unique-ness of the area and the local influence with the absence of 8/21/2020 11:45 AM the Big Market Chains. Everything comes from within the county, like its own separate world. (ie., Cherries, wine, beer, apples, confectionaries, Candles, clothes. Each of the Park's is quite different from each other and the lighthouses/islands around the peninsula are a wonderful backdrop for photo-ops.

  • Why Challenge?
I get it. It’s a summer trip - WHY CHALLENGE? We love Challenge, and it’s as simple as this: God uses Challenge to change lives. Challenge takes students beyond a mountaintop moment, and equips them to live life on mission for Christ. If you talk to students who have been on a Challenge trip, you’ll hear stories like this: “At Challenge this week I met new awesome friends, grew closer to others, and was challenged to always show God’s love to others, even when it’s scary, uncomfortable, or I just don’t feel like it, because it’s a choice to be all in for God and I want others to see His glory through me.” This year, the theme is “Restless: Longing and Belonging”, using the power of the gospel to point to Christ as the only one that can turn our longing to belonging. For more stories, check the top corners of this info sheet - there are so many times when God has used Challenge to impact students. We’re really excited for this summer (yes, we know it’s a ways away), and to see how God will use Challenge to work in our students! QUESTIONS? JULY 13-18, 2020 CONTACT EMILY KANSAS CITY, MO [email protected] “God puts us through tough situations because He loves us. It’s how we grow.” FAQ’S Here’s the basics, the details, and answers to some of our most frequently asked questions about Challenge. If we missed something, just ask! Give me the basics.
