REGIONAL OFFICE PROFILE
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office IV- B (PDEA RO IV-B) is under the direct supervision of Regional Director, ATTY. JACQUELYN L. DE GUZMAN. The Offices are located at Unit 14, Filipiniana Complex, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro and PDEA Bldg., Brgy. Sta. Isabel, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro. Its workforce consisting of Administrative, Technical, Contractual and Drug Enforcement Officers are deployed all over the Region.
It has a Provincial Office operating at the Province of Palawan. The PDEA Palawan Provincial Office is located at Camp Artemio Ricarte, WESCOM Compound, Brgy. San Miguel, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.
Despite the difficulties, one may encounter in traveling in the MIMAROPA Region due to the vast seas separating each province, this Office’s efforts in the anti-drug campaign yielded positive results that could be seen in the numerous significant anti- drug operations it has conducted. Moreover, K-9 Units were deployed in Palawan and Oriental Mindoro to strengthen its security against drug syndicates transporting dangerous drugs into and out of the said provinces through its airports and maritime ports that are part of the Strong Nautical Highway, which connects the three island groups of the Philippines – Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
PDEA RO IV-B is continuously working with its stakeholders in protecting the populace of MIMAROPA Region against dangerous drugs.
