ANGER people who are angry over hearing loss have a right to be angry. It is such a vital sense to lose and its’ loss influences almost every aspect of socialization. Every time you ask someone to repeat themselves, it’s a reminder to you of the prob- lem. It gets stored in a memory bank of the brain. And it just does- n’t go away! eventually, you become resentful and angry at others over your own need to have things repeated. Worse yet, you may become angry when a family member suggests you should get help. You already know that, you just don’t want to hear it from them. It’s just too painful. The dynamics of this emotion can be fairly simple. You may become angry that you’re not understood by your spouse of family. The family is upset that this “stubborn person” isn’t doing more about the hearing loss. Some hearing impaired peo- ple, resistant to the impact their hearing loss has on others, may ask to have things repeated in a blam- ing manner. This leads others to feel that the communication prob- lem extends to them and gets them angry. MENDOCINO-LAKE AUDIOLOGY for information & appointments 730 S. DIRECTIONS: A. Using each "Chaos Grid" number with its letter one time, arrange the numbers with their letters for the "Order Grid" so each vertical column, horizontal row, and two diagonals each ADD to numbers inside thick lined cells. B. Some correct numbers with their letters have been put into the "Order Grid" to get you started. Also, above the "Order Grid" is a "Decoded Message" clue. C.
