A total sample of 247 malaria cases [(P. knowlesi (n=187), P. falciparum (n=23), P. vivax (n=37), P. malariae (n=4), mixed infection (n=3)] were analysed.     Kuala Besut by-election on July 24, during fasting month Malaysian Insider July 5 , 2013 By Hasbullah Awang Chik The Election Commission (EC) today announced polling day for the Kuala Besut by-election on July 24 with nomination day falling on July 12. This means the by-election will be held during the fasting month. EC chairman Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof said advanced voting would be conducted on July 20 and the Besut district officer has been appointed as the returning officer. "The EC has also agreed to set up an election campaign enforcement team which will be led by Saidi Salleh, the Besut District Council Council secretary," he said. The Kampung Raja Rakan Muda Complex will be the nomination centre and Besut District Council Hall will be the centre to tally the number of ballots. "Nine polling centres will be opened for the people to cast their ballots, one for advanced voting and the rest on polling day," Abdul Aziz told a news conference at the EC headquarters in Putrajaya. Abdul Aziz said the RMAF Gong Kedak multi-purpose hall will be opened as the advanced voting centre while eight schools with 35 voting streams would be opened on polling day. "Three hundred and five election support staff have been appointed and the by-election will cost RM760,000. The electoral roll which has been updated up to June 26 will be used," he said. Abdul Aziz said 17,683 voters could cast their ballots comprising 16,534 ordinary voters, 1,134 army personnel and their spouses, 14 policemen and one overseas voter.

Akta 334 mentakrifkan teksi lapangan terbang sebagai kenderaan motor yang digunakan untuk membawa orang ke dan dari lapangan terbang sebagai balasan bagi suatu bayaran dan dikendalikan dari suatu pangkalan tetap atau dalam suatu kawasan yang dibenarkan. 2 3. Kereta sewa ialah kenderaan motor yang muatan duduknya tidak melebihi enam orang atau, dalam kawasan yang dibenarkan oleh Lembaga, dua belas orang (dalam semua keadaan termasuk pemandunya) yang digunakan untuk membawa penumpang pada satu perjalanan sebagai balasan kepada bayaran berasingan yang dibuat oleh mereka. 4. Seksyen 19 (1)(a)(i) dan (ii) memberi kuasa kepada Lembaga untuk menetapkan kadar tambang tertentu bagi perkhidmatan pengangkutan awam bagi mengelakkan berlakunya persaingan yang membazir dengan cara pengangkutan alternatif, jika ada, di sepanjang laluan atau mana-mana bahagiannya atau yang berdekatan dengannya.
