ACTIVITY PAGE #2 Teacher instructions: Choose an activity for your classroom. OPTION 1: MEMORY VERSE GAME Instructions: ● Divide the class into groups of 4. Give each group a set of Memory verse words (page 5-6). ● Have them place the words face down on the ground or table. When you say, “Go!”, have them race to get the words in the correct order to say the memory verse. First group to do it correctly, wins. Supplies needed: Memory verse words (pg. 5-6, pre cut, 1 set per group) OPTION 2:BIBLE HANGMAN Instructions: ● Before playing, draw a Hangman puzzle on the whiteboard. Using the words or phrases below, play rounds of hangman by having kids guess letters to fill in the blanks. For each wrong guess, draw a part of a man on the puzzle. See if the kids can guess the hidden word/phrase before a full man is created. Words/Phrases: Moses God gives us rules to help us Commandments Love God, love people Mt. Sinai OPTION 3:10 COMMANDMENTS CRAFT Instructions: ● Give each kid a brown paper sack and a 10 Commandments template (page 7). ● Have the kids cut out each item. Have the kids flip the bag over to the flat side. Then have them tape or glue the “10 Commandments” at the top and then have them glue each commandment, in order, in two columns, 5 in each column below the title. ● As they work, read about the 10 Commandments from Exodus 20:1-17. Remind the kids that God gives us rules to teach us how to love God and others. Supplies needed: Brown paper sacks (1 per kid), 10 Commandments template (pg. 7, 1 per kid). Tape/Glue, Scissors Instructions: Solve the puzzles. Paper plate (one for each child) 2. Paper fastener (one for each plate) 3. Paint, markers, or crayons 4. Scissors (adults-only) Instructions: 1. Cut your paper plate in half. 2. Color your mountain grey using paint, markers or crayons. Draw green trees or leaves at the bottom of the plate. 3. Cut out the Moses template on the next page. 4. Insert the paper fastener into the bottom center of the paper plate. Push the fastener into the long end of the Moses template and secure. A shofar is made from a ram’s horn. Heavy card stock 2. Scissors (adults-only) 3. Crayons, paint, or colored pencils 4. School glue 5. Jumbo craft sticks Instructions: 1. Color the ten numbers and cut out. Paste onto heavy card stock. 2. Option 1: Glue a jumbo craft stick to the back of each number. Help your children to write the correct number on each craft stick. 3.
