FEINBERG A.M., Th.M., Th.D., Ph.D. on THE BIBLE INSTITUTE HOUR JULY, 1957 The Sabbath and The Lord's Day* DISTINCTIONS BETWEEN LAW AND GRACE THE SABBATH AND Probably the greatest contrast in the Word of God is that which exists between law and grace, yet it is the one that is THE LORD'S DAY least understood and most often confused. The principles of law and grace are mutually destructive; it is impossible for them to exist together. For "if by grace, then it is no more of by works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work" (Rom. 11: 6). To mix these two principles is to dull the keen, CHARLES L.
