They this year's Whitsuntide meetings. realised that the King of Glory was in the midst. I want to say right at the beginning that time will never eradicate the impression made upon heart and mind. The whole day was a real feast of good things. With the singing of the first hymn the power of God was manifest in a remarkable way. They were real Pentecostal gatherings. A unique feature of the ser vices were the personal testimonies given of those who had been baptised in the old-fashioned way. To those non-attenders I want to say that you would have been thrilled to have heard these varied testimonies. There was nothing dry or formal about them. It was quite evident that this experience had gripped them in an amazing way. Unitedly they testified that through receiving the Baptism in the Holy Spirit their LIVES W:ERE REVOLUTIONISED, The Holy Spirit gave to them greater power for ser vice, a greater love for God's people, a keener desire to study God's Word and greater joy in private and public worship. This Pentecostal blessing means the enduement with a power that possesses and holds-it grips and captivates.
