Upon arrival at Heho Airport, drive towards Pindaya, enjoy the beautiful hilly landscapes, vegetable plantations, terrace farming, etc. On the route towards Pindaya, stop at the junction town of Aung Ban and visit the 'Wholesale Market' – selling ginger, onions, chilies, potatoes, cold and seasonal vegetables high in giant mounds and watching the local people burn up on the trading of commodities. On arrival, a typical rural market with a wide range of food and dry goods will take visitors on the Pindaya market. Then, to explore this incredible complex of houses with 8094 Buddha Images, you will visit the Pindaya caves. Then you will take the shuttle to Nyaung Shwe and the port of Inle Lake. To explore the local culture in the lively market of the morning, visit the market for five days (the market is rotating in five daytrips every day except for full moon and dark moon days). Arrive at Mahagandaryon Monastery and Silk Weaving Factory, drive to Amarapura – an ancient capital of Myanmar, where more than 1000 monks can observe their life. The U Bein footbridge spreads over the Thaungthaman Lake for almost 3 quarters of a kilometer, and is widely used by the local monks, wearing alms bowls back and forth to convents. We cross a bridge to Sagaing across the Irrawaddy River. Sagaing Hill is widely regarded as the religious centre of Myanmar and is covered by 600 pagodas and monasteries, exploring pagodas like Swan Oo Pon Nya Shin and U Min Thone Sae. Go on to the capital city of Ava from the 14th to the eighteenth century and visit the monastery of Menu Okkyaung, built by the Queen in Chief in 1818 and the tower of Nan Myint, 27 meters high and the monastery of Bargayar, famous for the wood carving of 267 Teak columns. Return to the city and stop at the former capital Amarapura. Take advantage of the sunset when crossing U Bein Bridge. Return to the hotel and entertainment. Mandalay overnight. Cave Po Win Taung: an unforgettable complex comprises of 947 caves of sandstone that have been dug from the hills and contain the richest collection of wall paintings and Buddhist statues in Southeast Asia, which is considered by archaeologists. Visit Shwe Ba Taung nearby, where monasteries and temples are created from rocky, narrow cliffs.
