Contracted Health Entity (Hospitals) Total Births Joondalup Health Campus 1,631 Peel Health Campus 440 St John of God Midland Public Hospital 803 Additional Births in Contracted Health Entity Hospitals 2,874 between 1 January to 31 May 2017 Previous information suggests that at least eighty percent (80%) of these births will be to mothers who were admitted as public patients. (Note that Inpatient data is only complete to the end of February 2017.) - Births (Table 2) occurring in WA public hospitals. Births data is available to the end of May 2017. (Note that obstetric separations in Table 1 will also include birth events.) Non-admitted obstetric services provided to mothers classified as public patients. These attended appointments include antenatal, obstetric clinics and postnatal visits (Table 3). Please note, newborn checks provided by community health are not included in these figures. Based on more detailed analysis approximately seventy percent (70%) of non-admitted attended appointments relate to antenatal and postnatal visits Page 4 of 4 .
