I HISTORY: After touring with Harry Connick, Jr., and appearing at the Montreux Jazz Festival, Cincotti at age 18 became the youngest performer to headline the prestigious Oak Room of the Algonquin Hotel in New York. The following year, his self-titled debut album— filled with stellar interpretations of jazz standards—led him to become the youngest musician ever to claim the top spot on Billboard’s Jazz chart. Cincotti soon found his career in a whirlwind that included rapturous press (The New York Times called him “one of the most promis- ing singer-pianists of the next generation”). 2004’s On The Moon debuted at #2 Jazz, earned a gold record in France and was supported by a successful worldwide CD 2-402108 tour.
