MESSAGE FROM JMD’S DESK

Dear Montecarlo Family Members,

New Year Greetings!

It is my pleasure to connect with you all through this platform.

I hope that you and your loved ones are safe and healthy. We all agree that this pandemic has drastically impacted our way of living and work.

I am proud and inspired by the way our company has risen to this challenge with flexibility, cour- age, and a caring heart. Thank you for your enormous contributions. Let’s work together across all parts of the business to keep going. To capitalize on today's greatest changes and to identify emerging trends, innovation is more essential than ever. Improving operations and technology integration are important. To offset the fierce competition in the market, all of us are required to be more cost-conscious and optimize the usage of all our resources ensuring the quality and safety of our operations.

For the Financial Year ended on 31st March 2020, we have recorded a turnover of Rs. 2940 cr. i.e. 20% growth. Despite challenges, during the year we have shown the sign of revival in business. However, we will be required to put extraordinary efforts to achieve the budgeted target for the year 2020 -21. I am confident that our team will surely achieve the challenging targets.

The challenging year has passed and a new one is about to come.

Welcoming this New Year – 2021.

I wish all the employees and their family members be blessed with good Health and Happiness.

Happy New Year 2021, Stay Safe, Stay Healthy!!

With Best Wishes,

Diwali Pooja Celebration at Montecarlo House

Diwali is a festival of lights symbolizing the victory of righteousness and the lifting of spiritual darkness. The word 'Deepawali' literally means rows of diyas (clay lamps). This is one of the most popular festivals in the Hindu calendar. It is celebrated on the 15th day of Kartika (October/November). This festival commemorates Lord Rama's return to his kingdom Ayodhya after completing his 14-year exile.

This festival is celebrated with new clothes, spectacular firecrackers and a variety of sweets in the company of family and friends. All this illumination and fireworks, joy and festivity, signify the victory of divine forces over those of wicked.

Diwali was celebrated at Montecarlo House with Pooja & Aarti.

“Business is more exciting than any game.” - Lord Beaverbrook 17 COVID – 19 WARRIORS EXPERIENCES

My Covid 19 Experience

No symptoms before we (me and my wife) got to know we are Covid positive. It just started with shivering, fever, and cough All of a sudden. My fever continued for 10 days while my wife was fine from the 3rd day. We did not lose any weight. I neither lost my smell nor taste, but my wife lost her smell for a week. After 2 weeks, I tested Covid positive but feeling fine and good to walk or run. It took me 3 weeks to come to Covid negative while my wife got Covid negative after 2 weeks.

What I learned is:

Don’t afraid of Corona. It is a viral fever. It may affect you if your health is not good. So, everyone should keep their health as fit and eat healthy as a preemptive measure to refrain from any viral infections. Corona will come and disappear without notice if one: 1. Regularly drink Haldi Tea twice a day and 2. Take hot water steam for 5 minutes twice a day and 3. Take Tulsi drops (4-5 drops in a glass of water) twice a day. 4. Eat green vegetables and Dal /Pulses as much as you can. 5. Use Jaggery in place of Sugar. 6. Fruits – Sweet Lemon & Apple. 7. Anuloma Vilom Pranayama for 5 minutes in a day.

If someone is affected by Corona, he/she should get afraid. Follow doctor’s prescription sincerely and above 7 steps and additionally, saline water gargle thrice a day + morning-evening oxygen level check. He/She will completely cure and no worries at all.

- Tej Prakash (Associate Vice President – BD – Head Office)

Describe my story of Covid 19 quarantine Period

Covid – 19 is a very serious disease. Suddenly I had a cough and fever which is a positive sign of Covid-19. I tested my report, and it comes as a positive. With immediate effect, I go for home quarantine. I had Covid -19 symptoms for 8 days, and after that, I can get a test and smell. During the 14 days quarantine period, my wife supports me a lot, and time by time she gave me fruit, fruit juice, Ukada, etc. About my father and mother, they were so afraid of this situation and they were also talking with me over mobile video call 2-3 times a day and asked for anything needed. Also get good support from my other family members, my friends, and office friends. Only one suggestion is that please take care of the effects of after Covid. Finally, Covid – 19’s Positive days were very critical for my family.

- Binkal Patel (Executive - HR & Admin – Head Office)

"Price is what you pay. Value is what you get." - Warren Buffett 18 COVID – 19 WARRIORS EXPERIENCES

COVID-19 Isolation Experience:

In this pandemic, COVID-19 be alert & be safe. COVID-19 is easily curable if attention & care is proper. Not to be panic & depressed if tested COVID POSITIVE. Strong willpower also helps in faster recovery. The worst part of COVID-19 what I feel is “ISOLATION” from the surroundings, not anything else. To Face Isolation, the best part is to make yourself busy with reading some Ideological & Moral enhancing books & engage in activities like YOGA - Exercise, watching TV, Painting and Listening Music, etc. As its long period of 14 days of ISOLATION. It’s like I am in the cage of gold, I have all facilities in that, but I can’t allow myself to fly out of this cage. But again, I would like to say no need to be panic, “Wear a Mask & maintain Social Distance”

Few suggestions I want to share if anyone found COVID Positive & make self-quarantine at Home.

If you feel any COVID-related symptoms for a day or two i.e. fever, cough, headache, body pain, then go for a COVID test and make yourself isolated from your family members till the result comes as a precaution. Be alert & stay safe by maintaining social distancing from your family members, wear a face mask, wash your hand frequently & use sanitizer. Live in a Separate room with a separate bathroom at Home. Drink Hot water at regular intervals & inhale steam also regularly. These will help you. Keep busy always with positive thinking. Use separate dishes, glasses, cups, and utensils. After use, run them through the dishwasher or wash them with very hot soapy water on your own. Check your body temperature & Oxygen level with the help of an Oximeter 2 to 3 times during the isolation period/till you get completely cured. Not to sympathize with anyone for personal meet regardless of what relation we have.
