Preface to Laghu-Bhagavatamrta a Spiritual Book by Srila Rupa Gosvami
Preface to Laghu-Bhagavatamrta a spiritual book by Srila Rupa Gosvami To our esteemed readers, this work by Srila Rupa Gosvami has been translated by Sriman Kusakratha Dasa, late disciple of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada - Founder-Acarya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness. Biographical material can be found at the end of this work. This is Volume One of Three. Laghu-Bhagavatamrta establishes the Transcendental Form of Govinda, as the Primieval Form of Godhead, containing the fullest expression of Transcedental Sweetness and Qualities. It is a monumental work to say the least, and rare to find in print. We thank Sriman Kusakratha prabhu for his hard work in devotion, inspired by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Kusakratha prabhu’s books always began with a dedication to his spiritual master His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada ‘nama om visnu-padaya krishna-presthaya bhutale srimate Bhaktivedanta swamin iti namine “I offer my respectful obeisances unto Srila Prabhupada, who is very dear to Lord Krsna, having taken shelter at His lotus feet.” namaste sarasvate devam gaura-vani pracarine nirvesesa sunyavadi, pascatya desa tarine” “Our respectful obeisances are unto you, O spiritual master, servant of Sarasvati Gosvami. You are kindly preaching the message of Lord Caitanyadeva and delivering the Western countries, which are filled with impersonalism and voidism.” If you run across any typo’s, please let us know at [email protected] Thank you -

By Veeraswamy Krishnaraj This Is Not the Official Site of Sri Guruvayoorappan Temple
By Veeraswamy Krishnaraj This is not the official site of Sri Guruvayoorappan Temple. Guruvayurappan Temple had a humble beginning in a hall in the said address several years ago, though its greatness was not any less than now. Then, it was a modest shrine; its grandeur is yet to manifest. The devotees saw the girders rise against the azure sky with fluffy clouds. The building rose around the steel girders through rain, shine, storm and snow in the middle of the woods to the delight of the devotees and the astute planners. Its vista is spectacular. I tried to capture its beauty surrounded by verdant woods turning colors from spring to fall. The trees and the spring and the summer leaves bore witness to the devotees coming and going with reverence in their hearts. As the rains came down from the heavens, each leaf shed its tears of joy to see the temple rise from mother earth. The temple bears rainbow colors on its exterior and its architecture is wonderful. Could this location be Brindavanam of North America? Could this have been where Krishna sported with Gopis in His youth. Such thoughts come up in the mind. See the splash of colors in this portrait bearing witness to the colorful persona of Bhagavan Krishna. The Morganville Temple the namesake of Gurvayur Sri Krishna Temple in Kerala houses Guruvayoorappan as the central deity. Its broad appeal is that the temple houses other deities. The presiding deity is MahaVishnu in the form of Krishna with Tulasi garland, in standing posture with four hands carrying Sankhu (conch), Sudarshana chakram (a serrated disk), lotus and mace. -

Sarvatobhadra Chakra
SARVATOBHADRA CHAKRA Sarvatobhadra Chakra Sarvatah means “everywhere” or “entirely”. Bhadra means “auspicious” or “well”.Sarvatobhadra chakra is a chart that shows all-round well-being and all kinds of auspicious and inauspicious results. Mantreswara's "Phala Deepika", chapter XXVI. a chapter allotted in this book to Nakshatra Gochara, Vedhas, Latta etc., principal items in the Sarvatobhadra-chakra methodology. The mere fact that a highly condensed treatise as "Phala Deepika" has allotted half a chapter covering most of the rules and regulations of this chakra illustrates the importance attached to it. The Sarvatobhadra-chakra is mostly used for following purposes: - For predicting the price-ranges of various commodities, metals, stocks etc. etc.. - For predicting the future of nations (political astrology), results of battles etc. - For predicting the events concerning a native's future. Basics of Sarvatobhadra Chakra: - Most of the Nakshatra based chakras depend on a zodiac of 27 Nakshatras, so they are trigonal because the number 27 has only the divisors 3 and 9. - Sarvatobhadra Chakra is drawn in a rectangle of 9 * 9 = 81 fields. Abhijit plays a key role and gives rise to a rectangular Nakshatra chart, composed of 4 * 7 = 28 basic fields. SARVATOBHADRA CHAKRA SARVATOBHADRA CHAKRA PHALADEEPIKA, CHAPTER 26 THE USE OF SARVATOBHADRA CHAKRA Effects of transits of the various planets and constellations 1. Among all the Lagnas, the Moon's Lagna (Chandra Lagna or the sign in which the Moon is posited), is most important for assessing the effects of transits (Gocharaphalam). It is, therefore, imperative to make predictions about effects of the transits of planets through various signs from the sign occupied by the Moon.
