The Northern Race S Rally Rescue Marshals Club known as N.R.R.R.M.C., is a private club formed in 1969 to provide a mobile rescue unit to Free trapped and injured drivers. Our members come from all walks of life and they all give their services free of charge to this club. The club relies solely on donations from members of the public and the various clubs for its survival. The equipment for a fu lly equipped Rescue Unit costs about £.3000 minimum to buy. We carry onboard five extinguishers - dry powder and light water, air cutting equipment for cutting drivers out, hydrolic equipment for spreading cars, a wide variety of medical equipment for dealing with most emergencies on a track [and sometimes road tra ffic accidents on the way and from meetings] including oxygen, entonox and a stretcher.
