Have a nice trip to Normandy DAY 1: SAINT-MALO - VILLEDIEU-LES-POELES - BAYEUX - CAEN In the morning, drive to Bayeux. On the way, stop at Villedieu-les-Poêles to discover its great artisan tradition around copper since the Middle Ages: stoves, brassware, boilermaking, foundry ... Possible visit of the foundry of bells. Then drive to Bayeux and visit the Bayeux Tapestry. This is the jewel of textile art embroidered around 1070 to adorn the cathedral. Road to Caen. Your evening: night and dinner in a 3 *** hotel in the Caen region. DAY 2: ST MALO - LANDING After breakfast, discover the Caen Memorial. The Caen Memorial building occupies the site of the German General W. Richter's command bunker, which opposed the Anglo-Canadian troops on June 6, 1944. This "museum for peace" is a place of history and reflection on the close links between respect for human rights and the safeguarding of peace. The visitor is invited here to make a journey in the collective memory, from 1918 to today. Free lunch. In the afternoon, drive along the landing beaches: Arromanche, Juno Beach, Pointe du Hoc .... Your evening: night and dinner in a 3 *** hotel in the Caen region. DAY 4: HONFLEUR - ETRETAT - THE COTE FLEURIE - ROUEN Road to Honfleur, charming seaside resort Norman and Étretat .. Bordered by a dyke- promenade (the Perrey), the pebble beach is framed by the famous cliffs of white chalk. No wonder then, that Etretat attracted and inspired many painters (Monet, Corot, Boudin ...), filmmakers and writers (Maupassant, Maurice Leblanc ...). Beautiful landscapes along the flowery coast.
