  • Bounty Killer
KickArc and Raindance Entertainment present a Kickstart Production in association with Just Chorizo Productions Bounty Killer Directed by Henry Saine Written by Jason Dodson, Henry Saine & Colin Ebeling Produced by Jason Netter Produced by Colin Ebeling & Henry Saine Executive Produced by Bobby Gerber Tucker Moore Bounty Killer Synopsis It’s been 20 years since the corporations took over the world’s governments. Their thirst for power and profits led to the Corporate Wars, a fierce global battle that laid waste to society as we know it. Born from the ash, the Council of Nine rose as a new law and order for this dark age. To avenge the corporations’ reckless destruction, the Council issues death warrants for all white collar criminals. Their hunters -- the bounty killer. From amateur savage to graceful assassin, the bounty killers now compete for body count, fame and a fat stack of cash. They’re ending the plague of corporate greed and providing the survivors of the apocalypse with retribution. These are the new heroes. This is the age of the BOUNTY KILLER. ____________________________________________________________________ Two of the highest ranked bounty killers in the Thrice Burned Lands, Drifter (Matthew Marsden) and Mary Death (Christian Pitre) team up to exterminate a party full of yellow-tied corporate criminals. Drifter’s explosive killing style is in stark contrast to Mary’s graceful way of delivering death to white collar scum. Despite their difference in style, they exhibit level of comfort with one another that seems to indicate a long and dynamic history between these celebrity assassins. After the fight moves to a skyscraper’s rooftop, Drifter disposes of his intended target and saves Mary from falling to her death -- just another day at the office.

Voters making selections in their own branch categories list only film titles on their ballots, not the individuals responsible for the various achievements. For that reason, as well as for reasons of printing time and convenience of using this pamphlet, full credit rosters are not provided for the listed films. An exception to the above exists in the four Acting categories, where simply listing titles would not provide enough voting information. Actors Branch members filling out their Nominations ballots must indicate both titles and the particular performers they are voting for. For that reason, the Reminder List provides a listing of up to fifty cast members for each film. Pictures eligible in the Animated Feature Film, Documentary Feature and Foreign Language Film categories are also eligible in the Best Picture category, provided they meet the qualifications for the category. When the first medical dramas were broadcasted, the main characters were good, peaceful, intelligent, competent, empathic, and successful physicians. One of the most famous, even outside the US, was Marcus Welby M.D. (1969-1976) of David Victor –which this year marks 50 years since its first emission. This depiction began to change in the mid-1990s. While maintaining the over positive image of medical doctors, TV series started to put more emphasis on their negative characteristics and difficulties in their interpersonal relationships, such asER (TV) by Michael Crichton (United States) and House MD (TV) by David Shore (United States). In these series, physicians were portrayed as arrogant, greedy, and adulterous, and their diagnostic and therapeutic errors were exposed. The last two series are The Good Doctor (TV) by David Shore (United States), with a resident of surgery with autism and Savant syndrome, and The Resident (TV) by Amy Holden Jones, Hayley Schore and Roshan Sethi (United States), where serious institutional problems appear.

  • 2008 Great Taste Program
Welcome from the President Welcome to the 22nd annual Great Taste of the Midwest! Once again, we've got an incredible selection of beers that should titillate your taste buds, and we've made several exciting changes which we hope will make your experience even more enjoyable. We've increased space by fencing in more of the park. Instead of the three large tents that we've have had for many years, there are five smaller ones, which means more brewers, shorter lines and better traffic flow. More tents also means more corners, so expect to see more creative and exciting brewer displays. Our expanded education tent this year will have more than just historical displays, but also presentations pairing beer with chocolate, pairing cheese with beer, and a presentation on cooking with beer. This is our third year for the real ale tent, which is growing again due to its amazing popularity. We'll have sixty delicious cask-conditioned beers which are served right from the firkin. If you've never tried a cask conditioned beer, be sure to stop by! Every year I learn to appreciate this event more and more. The location, the patrons, the brewers and all of the incredible beers make this a truly remarkable event that gets better year after year. Also remarkable are the dedicated members of the Madison Homebrewers and Tasters Guild, whose love for brewing and craft beer has made this event possible. Please take time to thank the festival organizers wearing the beige work shirts, many of whom work countless hours each year to make this event a success.
