After losing their first three games, they won their next three, then lost their next two. LAST T%M$ &T • The Ambush are looking to bounce back from a difficult road trip to Mexico last weekend. They lost 12-7 to Sonora Friday night, then fell 15-6 to Monterrey on Sunday. • The Wave defeated the Kansas City Comets 8-3 in their last match January 4 at the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena in Independence, Missouri. '$(T ) * $A+H T$AM • After today’s match, the Ambush return home to The Family Arena in St. Charles, Missouri for a pair of games against Utica City FC next weekend. They host Utica Friday, January 17 at 7:35 p.m. CST, then again Sunday, January 19 at 3:05 p.m. CST. • After today’s game, the Wave will return to Independence to battle the Kansas City Comets Friday, January 17 at 7:05 p.m. CST. WH #S H T, ST. L &IS AM-&SH • Forward Tony Walls leads the team in points (16) and goals (12) and has eight goals and two assists in his last four games. • Forward Duduca had four goals in the team’s losing effort against Sonora on January 3. He has seven points in his last four games. • Forward JT Thomas has six points in his last four games. • Defender Pablo Da Silva didn’t make the trip to Mexico, but in the two games he has played since joining the Ambush, he tallied a goal and four assists. • Despite the two losses in Mexico, forward Corey Adamson did his part to help his team with three goals in those two games. • Goalkeeper Paulo ranks fourth in the MASL in save percentage at .721. WH #S H T, MILWA&.$$ WA/$ • Forward Max Ferdinand leads the team in points (17) and assists (11) and is tied for the league lead in the assists category. Max has 11 points in his last four games. • Forward Ian Bennett is the Wave’s leading goal scorer (13) and is tied for fourth in the league in that category. Ian has nine goals in his last four games. • Midfielder Luan Oliveira is the Wave’s second leading goal scorer (11), and leads the MASL in power play goals with five and game-winning goals with four. LSO has eleven points in his last four games. • Goalkeeper Rafael Dias is tied for the league lead in wins (six), has the MASL’s best goals against average (3.02) and the best save percentage (.811). AM-&SH L S$ !$)$'!$* ) * *$MAIN!$* ) S$AS ' • The Ambush learned this week that defender Magui will miss the remainder of the season. • Magui was injured in the December 27 match against the Tacoma Stars. • Tests performed this week showed that Magui suffered a torn ACL. • Surgery was performed Wednesday by Dr. Kevin Quigley. • Quigley is a former St. Louis Steamers player.     2016 – 2017 MKSC Academy Coaching Staff Bios All coaches are licensed and have played and/or coached at the professional, collegiate, high school and youth level. Marcelo Fontana - signed his first professional player contract at 19 in his homeland Argentina. Celo moved to the United States in 1995 to play for a number of professional soccer teams including the Seattle Sea Dogs, Florida Thunder Cats, Wichita Wings and Milwaukee Wave. While with the Wave, he was named team co-captain and was part of the 2005 championship team. After an impressive playing career, Celo transitioned from player to coach. With this change, Celo took on positions as Director of Coaching for the Milwaukee Kickers Nicolet Soccer Club, Assistant Director of Coaching for Mequon Soccer Club and Coach of the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) Omaha Vipers. Celo has a USSF D license and works with the U16 and U17 girls’ teams. Alvaro Garcia-Velez - is the Executive Director of the Milwaukee Kickers Soccer Club, one of the largest soccer clubs in the United States. He has coached for over 20 years, the last 10 with the Tosa Kickers and the MKSC Academy. Garcia-Velez has a USSF D license and works with the girls’ high school program. Michael King - has had an impressive professional soccer career that spanned 23 years including many with the Milwaukee Wave. Based on his outstanding high level play, his Milwaukee Wave jersey was retired and he continues to hold the record as the Wave’s all-time leading scorer. King’s other career accomplishments include being captain of four championship teams, being named a three-time NCAA All-American as well as a place in the Farleigh Dickinson University and Wisconsin Soccer Hall of Fame.

Time spent at camp is the best way for your child to explore their interests, meet new friends, and gain confidence in their abilities. JCC Specialty Day Camps provide campers opportunities to build community across all of our camp offerings. We A Typical Day at Camp will begin each day with Morning Assembly in the JCC 7:00-9:00AM Before Care (add’l fee) Courtyard before each group heads off for their camp 9:00AM All Camp Morning Assembly program.
