2016 – 2017 MKSC Academy Coaching Staff Bios All coaches are licensed and have played and/or coached at the professional, collegiate, high school and youth level.

Marcelo Fontana - signed his first professional player contract at 19 in his homeland Argentina. Celo moved to the in 1995 to play for a number of professional soccer teams including the Seattle Sea Dogs, Florida Thunder Cats, and Wave. While with the Wave, he was named team co-captain and was part of the 2005 championship team. After an impressive playing career, Celo transitioned from player to coach. With this change, Celo took on positions as Director of Coaching for the Milwaukee Kickers Nicolet Soccer Club, Assistant Director of Coaching for Mequon Soccer Club and Coach of the Major League (MISL) . Celo has a USSF D license and works with the U16 and U17 girls’ teams.

Alvaro Garcia-Velez - is the Executive Director of the Milwaukee Kickers Soccer Club, one of the largest soccer clubs in the United States. He has coached for over 20 years, the last 10 with the Tosa Kickers and the MKSC Academy. Garcia-Velez has a USSF D license and works with the girls’ high school program.

Michael King - has had an impressive professional soccer career that spanned 23 years including many with the . Based on his outstanding high level play, his Milwaukee Wave jersey was retired and he continues to hold the record as the Wave’s all-time leading scorer. King’s other career accomplishments include being captain of four championship teams, being named a three-time NCAA All-American as well as a place in the Farleigh Dickinson University and Soccer Hall of Fame. Michael has a USSF “B” license and works with the U12 boys and U14 Boys. Michael was one of two coaches chosen to start the Milwaukee Kickers Elite Strikers select program. Michael also serves as the Wisconsin Fire U14 Coach, one of the select teams spawned from the newly-developed partnership with the Fire.

Pete Knezic - Pete’s soccer pedigree includes being an honorable mention All-American for UW- Milwaukee and brief stints with several professional soccer teams before joining the Milwaukee Wave. Playing with the Wave, he became a popular fan favorite and legend resulting in his induction into the inaugural class of the Wave Hall of Fame, culminating in the retirement of his No. 5 Wave jersey. In his coaching role, Pete spent several years as Coaching Director at FC Milwaukee and has since joined the Milwaukee Kickers team. Pete has over 25 years of coaching experience and has coached more than 100 youth players that have gone on to play Division 1 college soccer. Pete also coaches the Wisconsin Fire U14 Girls’ Team. Pete has a USSF B license and works with the U13 girls and high school boys.

Aurinei “Chico” Parisotto - is a native of Brazil and has a wealth of experience playing at the professional level in Brazil and in the United States, which is a rare combination to find in a coach. Chico continues his professional career by playing on the PASL League Championship team, the Chicago Mustangs. Chico has been a long standing coach within Milwaukee Kickers Club and currently holds a USSF National D license. He is currently the Director of Coaching for the MKsc Nicolet Region and has coached for the Northshore Arsenal and the Nicolet Northstars select programs since 2006. Chico’s ability to instruct and demonstrate soccer techniques, both from the outside game and across indoor and futsal makes him a wonderful addition to the MKSC Academy team. His ability to convey soccer in a meaningful way with his first-hand knowledge of the game helps youth in our program thrive.

Kylie Ringelstetter - Kylie has been a wonderful addition to the MKSC Academy coaching team. She will be coaching the U12 Girls. Kylie’s soccer background includes playing for the and, in her teens, for De Pere Select after her family relocated to the Green Bay area. She lettered four years on De Pere High School’s varsity team, was team captain, an all- conference player and named to the 2007 Wisconsin State All-Star Team. Kylie then went on to a stellar collegiate career at where she captained her team and led the team in assists all four years. Following her college career, she played for FC Green Bay in the Women’s Premier League. Her passion for the game led to her transition from player to youth soccer coach, and she has coached at the camp level for De Pere High School and Carroll University. Most recently, she was coaching for Middleton United in Madison, specializing in coaching U11 Girls. MKSC Academy is excited to welcome Kylie to our coaching team

Tito Sanabria - Tito Sanabria has coached soccer for the past 17 years, including the last three as a staff coach for the Milwaukee Kickers Academy program. Prior to that, he coached for Germantown Soccer Club where he coached U7 through U17 boys and girls. He has served as a board member for the Germantown Soccer Club for the past 17 years. Tito holds a USSF D License and is currently coaching U14 and U15 girls.

Paul Sanchez - grew up playing soccer for the Milwaukee Kickers, Tosa Kickers and Marquette High School before going on to become the MVP and captain of the Marian University Men’s Soccer Team. His honors include a place on All Conference, All District, All Area V and Mid East NAIA teams as well as Honorable Mention All-American NAIA Player. After college, Sanchez played for the Milwaukee Kickers’ Majors as he transitioned to coaching. His coaching accomplishments include a Wisconsin State Championship for the Marquette High School Boys Varsity Team, Polonia Men’s Majors Coach and seven years as the Tosa Kickers’ Youth Coach. Sanchez was inducted into the Inaugural Class of the Marian University Athletic Hall of Fame. Paul has a USSF D license and works with the U11 boys, U12 boys, U13 boys and the U14 girls.

Zachary Soderberg - is a staff coach and administrator with MKSC Academy South. Born and raised in Southeastern Wisconsin, he played three years of varsity soccer at Wauwatosa West High School, and played his club soccer at Milwaukee Sport Club. Zach earned a scholarship his freshman year to play NAIA soccer at Bryan College in Tennessee, but an ACL injury cut his career there short. After his year in Tennessee, Zach transferred to the University of Minnesota where he played on the club team for three years, and served as the vice president of the club. Zach returned to Milwaukee after graduating from Minnesota with his degree in Kinesiology, and he spent one year coaching a U12 boys’ team at Milwaukee Sport Club as well as personal training at Elite Sports Club. He currently has his USSF E license and is pursuing his D.

Assistant Coaches Girls Tiffany Duncan – is an assistant coach for the U14 girls and U18 girls MKSC Academy teams. Born in Lawton, Oklahoma she double majored in Criminal Justice and Sociology at the University of Dubuque where she received a partial soccer scholarship. During her collegiate soccer career, she broke school records in shutouts, goals against average and save percentage. She currently has her USSF F license and is pursuing her E.

Chris McCormick - Chris is a welcome addition to the MKSC Academy coaching team. He grew up playing soccer for Menomonee Falls and Milwaukee Sport Club, and played high school soccer for Sussex Hamilton. Chris has been a member of the MKSC staff since 2014 and has assisted in coaching MKSC Camps, MiKro Soccer and MKSC Youth Academy Training at the Milwaukee County Sports Complex and Uihlein Soccer Park. He also assisted in running a Fubolito program from 2012-2014 for players ages 4-6. Chris’ coaching experience includes positions as freshmen coach at Sussex Hamilton High School in 2013 and Pewaukee Sussex U11 Boys in 2013. Most recently, Chris served as the head coach for the Middleton United U11 Boys. Now relocated closer to where he learned his soccer roots, Chris will assist MKSC Academy Coach Kylie Ringelstetter with the U12 Girls and assistant coach for other MKSC Academy teams as needed.

Assistant Coach Boys Daniel Nogueira - Daniel, a native of Cedarburg, grew up playing for Cedarburg Strikers and Mequon Soccer Club. From early childhood, attending Milwaukee Wave games, to playing on Marquette High School '02 State Championship team - Daniel has been around the ball for much of his life. Most recently, he was a player with the '13 -'14 Men's Division 1 championship squad with NSU. Since coming aboard the MKSC coaching staff, Daniel has begun his licensing journey by acquiring an E coaching license... ad is wait listed for the D licensing course. Prior to MKSC, Daniel coached three years at Germantown High School - seeing to it that the Freshmen squad was well equipped to face the competition at higher levels of play as well as assisting at the Varsity level. In addition to these coaches, MKSC Academy also employs specialized guest coaches to assist with programs and teams as needed.
