Jets Quotes Head Coach Paul Maurice "The way it started for both teams there was an awful lot of missiles, not a lot of floating and they were putting a pretty good grind on you. But we had some pretty good offensive zone time right through the game. We got into the third and I think we just wore their back end down. Lost Ceci half way through the game, that affected them. Then we got into the third and we probably left five [chances] there. We had four or five A chances and they made some saves, missed some nets. So yo pretty strong in the offensive zone tonight." Blake Wheeler "Resilient. The team needed a win here tonight. We played a solid game. It was a bit of a grind in the first period. I think we figured out they were willing to clog it up. Instead of being stubborn we got some pucks in, used our speed and we were able to pour it on from there." Senators Quotes Head Coach Guy Boucher re e of our guys are able to come back, bu Mike Condon .

The P-Bruins started their weekend with a home-and-home series against a Bridgeport team they had just one win against all year and a team ahead of them in the standings. After taking the first game at home 2-1, Providence came back from a 3-2 third period deficit by scoring two goals in 15 seconds to win 4-3 in Bridgeport. Their weekend concluded with a 3-0 win over Springfield at the Dunk, Zane McIntyre’s first career shutout. Providence now sits second in both the Atlantic Division and Eastern Conference with a record of 33-14-5-4 and 75 points. Those 75 points are second most in the AHL and the team is just four points away from first place. In a loaded division, however, the team will have to continue their good play as fifth place Hershey has 67 points and only the top four teams from each division will make the playoffs. Tommy Cross led the team in scoring for the weekend, posting a goal and three assists while scoring in every game. His lone goal was the game winner on Saturday in Bridgeport and he also upped his team lead in rating to +19.
