Genesis 49:19 - Gad, a Troop Shall Overcome Him: but He Shall Overcome at the Last of 1941 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10035 WORLD HEADQUARTERS Tel: (212) 828-9490 (212) 289-9923 Classes Held Daily, Monday to Friday: 7PM to 10:30PM, Sabbath (Saturday) Classes — 8:30AM to Sundown SEE “THE REAL JEWS ARE BLACK” ON MANHATTAN CABLE, TUESDAYS AT 2:00AM ON CHANNEL 57 WWW.THEHOLYCONCEPTIONUNIT.ORG THE NORTH AMERICAN INDIANS: THE TRUE “NATIVE AMERICANS” Genesis 49:19 - Gad, a troop shall overcome him: but he shall overcome at the last. The Native American Indians, according to the Holy Bible & according to historical records, are the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, of the Nation of Israel, of the Tribe of GAD. READ: Gen. 49:1-2 & 19 (The Troop that overcame GAD was the United States Cavalry – Example: see the picture below) . Also read: Deut. 33:20 & I Chron. 12:8. In 709 B.C. (the year of King Solomon’s death), the Nation of Israel was split into two. The south was the Kingdom of Judah (Southern Kingdom) consisting of the tribes of JUDAH, BENJAMIN and LEVI, headed by Solomon’s son Rehoboam, of the tribe of JUDAH. The north was the Kingdom of Israel (Northern Kingdom) consisting of the other Ten (10) tribes, headed by Jeroboam (the son of Nebat), an Ephraimite General of King Solomon’s army. The Northern Kingdom (Kingdom of Israel) did not keep the MOST HIGH’S (God’s) laws, therefore in 474 BC, they were led into captivity by King Shalmanasar, the Assyrian King. Please read: II Kings, 17th Chapter (esp. 6-7) & in the Apocrypha. II Esdras 13:40-47. Records & documents like James Adair’s “History of the American Indian” , have facts proving that the customs, religions, laws, etc., of the Native Americans (GAD) go back to their ancestors, the Hebrew Israelites of ancient times. This is confirmed with Biblical scriptures. For example, the fringes that they wore on their garments are found in the book of Numbers 15:38-40. By the time of Christ, Hosea 1:10 had been fulfilled with the tribes of Israel living in all the lands of the earth, which Christ also spoke about in St. John 10:16 “And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring…” Read: Gen. 28:14, St. John 10:24-30. 1 Chron. 5:18 Tells us that the Gadites were able to shoot with bow (bow & arrow). The so-called Native American Indians are descendants of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob (all so-called black men). All Caucasians are the descendants of Esau, the TRUE RED RACE. Read: Gen. 25:25. The Most High (God) said that Israel would go into captivity under all nations, and in the last days he would redeem Israel from among the Nations. Please read: Jer. 50:33-34, Ezek. 20:34, Hos. 1:10-11, Gen. 49:19 (the TROOP that overcame GAD was the United States Cavalry ) & Rev. 13:9-10. Concerning the TRUE descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (the 12 tribes of the Nation of Israel, scattered throughout the earth), scholars have purposely lied . They have churches, schools and universities set up to keep the lies going. Please read: Job 9:24, Isa. 29:15-16, Job 13:4, Psa. 5:9, Acts 13:10, Dan. 8:24-25. Example : “God loves all people” is a LIE! Read: Rom. 9:13, Rom. 9:8. The 12 Tribes of ISRAEL have been lied to by false preachers & false teachers that are not going according to what God says. We are the children of God & it is time to return and do what God says. Please read: Deuteronomy 5:31-33: “But as for thee, stand thou here by me, and I will speak unto thee all the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which thou shalt teach them, that they may do them in the land which I give them to possess it. Ye shall observe to do therefore as the LORD your God hath commanded you: ye shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left. Ye shall walk in all the ways which the LORD your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess.” THE TWELVE TRIBES OF THE NATION OF ISRAEL— ACCORDING TO THE KING JAMES VERSION OF THE HOLY BIBLE 1. • The Maternal Effect on the Twelve Tribes of Israel1
97 The Maternal Effect on the 1 Twelve Tribes of Israel By: NACHMAN COHEN Introduction The thesis of this treatise is that the character of the twelve sons of Ya‘akov was determined by the disposition and perspective of their mothers at the time of their birth.2 We will show how the mothers’ changing attitudes affected their biological and surrogate children and how these characteristics carried forward to their descendants who became the Twelve Tribes of Israel.3 A study of the Torah quickly reveals that we know very little about the sons of Ya‘akov. Seven of the twelve sons are completely silent throughout the Humash. Nothing is heard from Dan, Naftali, Gad, Asher, Yissakhar, Zevulun, and Binyamin. The pronounce- ments of Re’uven, Shimon and Levi are scant, although we are made aware of several of their important decisions and actions. The sons we know the most about are Yehudah and Yosef. 1 This article was first presented as a memorial lecture for my good friend, Michael Schrek, z”l, © Nachman Cohen, 2007. 2 This is not say that Ya‘akov had no influence on the development of the tribe. However, this is beyond the scope of this essay. 3 This essay is for the most part limited to the discussion of the tribes as they are discussed in the Humash. It does not discuss what befell the tribes once they entered the Land of Israel. ________________________________________________________ Nachman Cohen is Director of Torah Lishmah Institute, Founding Rabbi of Young Israel Ohab Zedek, Chairman of the Association of Orthodox Jewish Scientists, and Research Professor at RIETS where he is the editor of the Encyclopedia of Talmudic Disputes and Perspectives.

This word is the same word used in Genesis 1:22 when G-d said, “be fruitful and multiply”.

These final words of Moses are a combination of blessing and prophecy, in which he blesses each tribe according to its national responsibilities and individual greatness. Moses' blessings were a continuation of Jacob's, as if to say that the tribes were blessed at the beginning of their national existence and again as they were about to begin life in Israel. • The Period of the Judges
THE PERIOD OF THE JUDGES As stated earlier, the Exodus took place c. 1446 B. C. and the conquest of the land began c. 1406 B. C. According to the Bible, the region of Sidon was conquered by the tribe of Asher, identified with 'Aziru' mentioned in the el–Amarna tablets as having conquered this region. We may conclude that according both these sources, the region of Sidon must have been an Israelite one. Yet the Bible appears to contradict our conclusion by its narratives about Hiram king of Zor (Tyre) and Ahab who marries Jezebel, the daughter of Etbaal, king of the Sidonians; about David and Solomon and others who" reigned over all Israel", excluding Sidon. It is puzzling that after the war waged by Asher in the region of Sidon (mentioned in the book of Judges), the Bible does not mention any other war between the Tyrians or Sidonians and the Israelites, whereas many wars of the Israelite tribes against the Philistines, Amorites, Moabites, etc. are mentioned repeatedly. Moreover, when David ascends the throne, a strong friendship develop between Sidon and Israel David is depicted in the Bible as an ambitious man, a warrior and a conqueror, a man whom God does not choose to build the Temple because his hands "shed blood abundantly".1 It is strange that such a man does not go to war against Tyre and Sidon in spite of the fact that these were two important and rich harbour cities. Furthermore, he is a personal friend of king Hiram, and Solomon his successor even enlarges upon this friendship.

  • In the Presence of the Almighty 1 the Compromise Between Moshe And
In the Presence of the Almighty1 The Compromise Between Moshe and the Tribes of Gad and Reuven Rabbi Daniel Fridman The Biblical narrative2 concerning the tribes of Gad3 and Reuven, and their desire to receive their tribal portions in the Transjordan, the eastern bank of the Jordan river, is a particularly challenging episode to understand. First and foremost, one wonders how such an audacious proposal4 could have been made on the part of these two tribes. As Moshe immediately responds, this does appear to be a rejection of the Land of Israel proper, as delineated by the geographic boundaries recorded just a few chapters later in the Torah5. Given the very tragic history involved with respect to a failure to appreciate the Land of Israel, duly noted by Moshe as the undoing of the previous generation in the context of the spies, it seems almost unfathomable that two entire tribes could even contemplate making such a request, notwithstanding the material benefits which they hope to accrue in this land which is so suitable for cattle grazing. How, exactly, did Gad and Reuven think that Moshe would react? Second, in light of the end of the story, in which Moshe does arrive at a compromise with these tribes, one wonders how Moshe’s attitude could have changed so drastically from a point of total opposition to one of acceptance. Initially, Moshe accuses these tribes of being as insidious as the spies were in the previous generation, literally leading the Jewish people down the path of annihilation6. 1 I would like to dedicate this essay, with its focus on both the national and spiritual dimensions of the Land of Israel, and, in particular, the capacity to radiate spirituality outwards from Zion, to the memory of Rav Yehuda Amital, zt’l, Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivat Har Etzion, on his tenth yahrzeit.

  • 1 Genesis 49 Jacob's Dozen: Gad, Asher, Naphtali Lesson 9: April 15
Refine Women’s Ministry Genesis 49 Jacob’s Dozen: Gad, Asher, Naphtali Lesson 9: April 15, 2020 by Kim Peelen It is the blessing of the LORD that makes rich, And He adds no sorrow to it. Proverbs 10:22 The Lord GOD is my strength, And He has made my feet like hinds' feet, And makes me walk on my high places. Habakkuk 3: 19 I have not hidden Your righteousness within my heart; I have spoken of Your faithfulness and Your salvation; I have not concealed Your lovingkindness and Your truth from the great congregation. Psalm 40:10 All these are the twelve tribes of Israel, and this is what their father said to them when he blessed them. He blessed them, every one with the blessing appropriate to him (Genesis 49:28). Jacob continues to bless his sons, and after Dan, he addresses the three remaining sons of the maids of his wives: Gad, Asher, and Naphtali with brief but significant words. "As for Gad, raiders shall raid him, But he will raid at their heels.” "As for Asher, his food shall be rich, And he will yield royal dainties.” "Naphtali is a doe let loose, He gives beautiful words.” Genesis 49: 19 - 21 A review of the complicated family tree - which son belong to which mother – is in order. After Leah has Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, she stops having children. Her sister Rachel, who is also a wife of Jacob, is childless after many years, so she gives her maid Bilhah to Jacob to bear children on her behalf.
