Ladies Golf League Ladies Golf League Monday League • League play is May 6 thru Sept. 23 Ball Drop at 8:30 • Register at Pro Shop by April 30th Tee Off at 9:00 • Join us for a “Get Acquainted Social” at Big Lugs on April 30th at 6:00 Stay for lunch at Big Lugs • Chicago-Style Tournament hosted weekly and rewarded at season’s end • Birdies and Chip-ins will be tracked and rewarded at season’s end • $25 League Fees + weekly green fees • $25 to establish 2019 IWGA handicap • Make Checks payable to: “Fall Creek Ladies Golf League” • Any questions contact the Fall Creek Pro Shop *Special Ladies League Green Fees 9 holes with cart $13 or 18 holes with cart $18 2019 Ladies Golf League • League play starts Monday, May 6 and ends Monday, September 23 • All players should be at the course by 8:30 for the “ball drop” to determine foursomes • Ladies League Green Fees are $13 for 9 holes and $18 for 18 holes with a cart • If you already have an established IWGA handicap from another course, you will not need to pay the additional $25 fee to establish your handicap again • League Information will be posted to Bulletin Board In Pro-Shop ladies room • Chicago Golf Tournament will be hosted each week, and rewarded $$ at season’s end. Chicago style golf format rewards competitors for great play on individual holes and not just for their total scores in a round. It also has a unique way of taking the handicap difference among players into ac- count in the scoring formula, giving players of varying abilities the oppor- tunity to compete against one another. golftips.golfweek.com • Birdies and Chip-ins will be tracked and rewarded $$ at season’s end • Golf Pro will determine if course is being played in winter or summer rules. (if ball can or can not be rolled-over) • Limit your search for lost balls to no more than 3 minutes. When a ball is lost hit your shot first and then help look for your partner’s lost ball. • Park your cart on the side nearest the next tee • On the green, begin reading and lining up your putt so that you are prepared when it is your turn. A player may continue putting until she holes out. • Write down your score when you reach the next tee • Use the 8 stroke rule. If you have taken 8 strokes and you’re not on the green, pick up your golf ball and place it on the front of the green. Pick up after a total of 10. The playing season is from course opening to course closing. Closing is dependent on weather conditions as approved by the “Management team”, which consists of the Parks Superintendent, Assistant Parks Superintendent, Golf Operations Supervisors and Head Greenskeepers. 2. Every person playing on the golf courses must pay the applicable green fee. Your golf fees are the sole support of the City’s golf program. No City of Madison tax money is used to support the golf program. 3. For safety reasons, walk-alongs/ride-alongs are allowed only before Memorial Day and after Labor Day.

    Rules & Regulations 1. REGISTRATION All golfers shall register at the Golf and Retail Shop (Golf Shop) and pay all applicable green fees, guest fees and cart fees before beginning play. Members are responsible for the payment of fees incurred on account of their guests. All guests are asked to sign the Guest Registry. 2. RESERVATIONS • The hours of operation of the golf course, practice range and Golf Shop will be posted in the Golf Shop and are subject to change, as determined at the discretion of the Club, and depending on golf course and weather conditions. The Superintendent of Course Maintenance, in consultation with the Head Golf Professional, shall determine when the golf course is playable and such decision shall be final and binding on all Persons using the golf course. No golf course play shall be permitted during any period that the course is closed. • Members are permitted to walk Monday-Friday anytime. Carts are required Friday, Saturday, Sundays and Holidays until 2:00pm • Members may reserve starting times 14-days in advance by calling the Club during Golf Shop hours or in person as follows: • No Member may obtain two starting times on Saturday, Sunday or holidays. • Tee times must be cancelled two hours prior to a starting time. • Failure to check in and register at least ten (10) minutes prior to a reserved starting time may result in revocation of the starting time. Players late for their starting time may lose their right to the starting time and shall begin play only at the discretion of the Golf Professional.

The Junior Golf Programs and Spring Trainings will be open to all members at Wedgewood and will provide many opportunities for juniors this year. • The first is our JR Spring Training which starts in mid-April, and will continue into the month of May. These Spring Training Sessions will focus on golf etiquette, rules, golf swing fundamentals, and short game fundamentals. Cost is $20 per junior per session. • Returning this year are the always popular Junior Play Days. We will run these for our 3 hole, 5 hole and 9 hole groups on Thursdays, beginning at 8:00am, throughout June and July. The Thursday play days are important because it allows our juniors the opportunity to experience the golf course. There will be 6 junior play days this year. We will also need parental assistance to help chaperon groups; please call the golf shop to be on the parent list. Golf Course Rules These rules have been established by the Board of Directors of Tellico Village Property Owners Association, Inc. (''TVPOA"), which is authorized under the Declaration for Tellico Village and the TVPOA Charter to establish rules and regulations governing play on TVPOA golf courses and practice facilities. The Director of Golf Operations and his staff serve as representatives of the TVPOA and have full authority to enforce all rules, regulations and policies as set forth by the TVPOA Board of Directors. The Director of Golf Operations is in operational control of the golf facilities and may delegate responsibilities to the golf course Superintendents and Golf Professionals as needed. The Director of Golf Operations and his staff are obligated to report intentional and repeated violations of these rules, policies, and rules of etiquette to the General Manager. Members also have the obligation to report violations to the management of the golf courses. General Rules 1. U.S.G.A. Rules of Play will apply except where amended by local rules.
