Abstract New speCIes descnbed: Eranap~nana,sp. n., from Venezuela; E. tQ.umra, sp. n., from ColombIa; and E. cendira. sp. n., from Brazil. Comparisons between the genera Olivensa Lane, 1965 and CeDhalodina Bates, 1881 are provided. Cephalodina crassiceps Bates, 1881, is designated the type species and a key to the species of Cephalodina is presented. Cephalodina acangassu, sp. n. , is described from Ecuador. Cephalodina megucephuta (Bates, 18(6) is tr ansfer redto the genus Olivensu. TYI inthiuscissiflons Bates, 1866, known from Brazil (AP, AM, PA, MA) is recorded from Trinidad. Thisgenus.and OlivensaLane, 1965, are closely related. Lane(I965: 318), when describing Olivensa, compared the genus with Adesmus but no compari· sons with Cepholodina were provided. Both genera share the follQwing common char­ acters: elytral humeral carma absent; internal side 2 ofbasal flagellomera with sparseshort hairs; upper ocular lobes distant; head developed, wide, globose (especially in females). Cephalodina can be distin· guished from Olivensaby bicoloured antennae, with black and white segments, humerus not projected, and basal lateral declivity of elytra regularly con· vex. Besides, in Cephalodina, the vertex is pubes­ cent, opaque and the prothoracicai pubescence is 3 white and dense (except on a circular black area in the middle of the pronotum (fig. 3». Thus briefly characterized, these genera incl­ ude the following species: Cepholodina - C. crassiceps Bates, 1881, type spe­ cies; C. copito (Bates, 1866); C. acangassu, sp. n. New species described in Eranina: E. moysesi and E. esquinas from Costa Rica; E. rondonia from Brazil (Rondônia) and E. hovorei from Ecuador. A key to the 34 species of Eranina is added. The monotypic genus Eraninella gen. nov. is erected for Eranina longiscapus (Bates, 1881). KEYWORDS. Eraninella; key; Neotropical; new taxa; taxonomy. RESUMO. Eranina Monné (Coleoptera, Cerambycidae, Lamiinae) e novo gênero de Hemilophini. Novas espécies descritas em Eranina Monné, 2005: E. moysesi e E. esquinas da Costa Rica; E. rondonia do Brasil (Rondônia) e E. hovorei do Equador. Acrescenta-se chave para as 34 espécies de Eranina. O gênero monotípico Eraninella gen. nov. é criado para Eranina longiscapus (Bates, 1881). PALAVRAS-CHAVE. Eraninella; chave; Neotropical; novos táxons; taxonomia. An annotated list of the Cerambycidae of Honduras is presented. Six hundred and twenty six species, including 372 species previously unrecorded from the country, are reported.     LONGHORNED WOOD-BORING BEETLES (CERAMBYCIDAE : COLEOPTERA) OF COSTA RICA An annotated species list Frank T. Hovore, April, 2002 The following provides a brief taxonomic and biological synopsis of the family Cerambycidae (sensu latu) for Costa Rica. It was assembled in June, 2001, primarily to provide a working baseline for collection organization and field study focus at the National Institute for Biodiversity (INBio), University of Costa Rica (UCR). Each segment (tribes, or groups of tribes) has a summary of the species diversity as presently known, notes about the taxonomic status of the group, and where pertinent, a mention of known work in progress or projects initiated. This list contains described species through early 2001, but is a work in process in that it will be modified to accommodate taxonomic changes or new material examined; the number of undescribed taxa is an approximation of the number of apparently new taxa seen by the author in both public (UCR, INBio, USNM, CAS, UCB) and private collections.
