Matters from Race 14: Deputy Race Director Incident Determinations There were no DRD determinations. Stewards’ Decisions – Penalties imposed Following an admission by the Team, the Stewards imposed the Penalties of a Fine in the sum of $3,000 and the Loss of Thirty (30) 2019 Virgin Australia Supercars Teams Championship Points on Chasports Racing Pty Ltd Car #18, for a breach of the Article 5.12.2 of the Event Supplementary Regulations - brake lock mechanism not engaged at all times during Pit Stop before Car was returned to the ground The Stewards imposed the following Fifteen (15) Time Penalties for Careless Driving breaches;  Car #18, contact to Car #78 Simona De Silvestro at Turn 1 on Lap 20, - the penalty was served during Car #18 Pit Stop.  Car #99, contact to Car #15 at Turn 10 on Lap 21, - the penalty was served during Car #99 Pit Stop.  Car #55, contact to Car #22 at Turn 11 on Lap 26, - the penalty was served during Car #55 Pit Stop.  Car #19, contact to Car #3 Simona De Silvestro at Turn 12 on Lap 42, - the penalty was added to Car #19 Race Time.

Matters from Race 13: Deputy Race Director Incident Determinations Following a request from Motorsport Holdings Pty Ltd, the DRD conducted an investigation into an allegation that the Driver of Car #21, , had made contact to Car #78, Simona De Silvestro, at Turn 7 on Lap1. After reviewing the Judicial Camera footage from Cars #19, #23, #35 and #78, the Hawk Eye footage, and advice from the Driving Standards Advisor, neither Driver was found to be wholly or predominately to blame for the incident. The DRD determined the matter did not warrant referral to the Stewards.

After a review of the Hawk Eye vision from Broadcast Camera 3 and 4 as well as advice from the Driving Standards Advisor, neither Driver was found to be wholly or predominately to blame for the incident. The DRD determined the matter did not warrant referral to the Stewards. The Stewards imposed the following time penalties for Careless Driving breaches during the Race;  Richie Stanaway Car #33 - 15 seconds, contact to Car #78 Simona De Silvestro at Turn 12 on Lap 2, causing Car #78 to spin and lose positions.  Car #12 – 15 seconds, contact to Car #17 Scott McLaughlin at Turn 5 on Lap 1, causing Car #17 to leave the track.  Lee Holdsworth Car #5 – 15 seconds, contact to Car #99 Anton de Pasquale at Turn 10 on Lap 22, causing Car #99 to spin and lose positions  David Reynolds Car #9 - 5 seconds, contact to Car #22 James Courtney at Turn 4 on Lap 2, gaining a position Following a Post-Race investigation by the DRD and after an admission by the Driver of Car #5, Lee Holdsworth, the Stewards imposed a 15 second Post-Race Time Penalty on Car #5 for a breach of Article 2.1 of Schedule B2 (Careless Driving) for contact with Car #3, Garry Jacobson, at Turn 12 on Lap 13 as a result of which Car #3 was pushed off the Race Track surface and lost positions.
