Matters from Race 13: Deputy Race Director Incident Determinations Following a request from Motorsport Holdings Pty Ltd, the DRD conducted an investigation into an allegation that the Driver of Car #21, Macauley Jones, had made contact to Car #78, Simona De Silvestro, at Turn 7 on Lap1. After reviewing the Judicial Camera footage from Cars #19, #23, #35 and #78, the Hawk Eye footage, and advice from the Driving Standards Advisor, neither Driver was found to be wholly or predominately to blame for the incident. The DRD determined the matter did not warrant referral to the Stewards. After a review of the Hawk Eye vision from Broadcast Camera 3 and 4 as well as advice from the Driving Standards Advisor, neither Driver was found to be wholly or predominately to blame for the incident. The DRD determined the matter did not warrant referral to the Stewards. Lee Holdsworth Car #5 – 15 seconds, contact to Car #99 Anton de Pasquale at Turn 10 on Lap 22, causing Car #99 to spin and lose positions David Reynolds Car #9 - 5 seconds, contact to Car #22 James Courtney at Turn 4 on Lap 2, gaining a position Following a Post-Race investigation by the DRD and after an admission by the Driver of Car #5, Lee Holdsworth, the Stewards imposed a 15 second Post-Race Time Penalty on Car #5 for a breach of Article 2.1 of Schedule B2 (Careless Driving) for contact with Car #3, Garry Jacobson, at Turn 12 on Lap 13 as a result of which Car #3 was pushed off the Race Track surface and lost positions. Matters from Qualifying for Race 13: Deputy Race Director Incident Determinations There were no DRD determinations. After reviewing judicial camera footage of the Incident from Car #78, the DRD determined that Car #19 had not committed any breach of the Rules, but Car #78 had driven carelessly in breach of Article 2.1.1 of the Code of Driving Conduct (Schedule B2) in causing contact with Car #19 causing Car #19 to spin and lose positions. The breach was admitted by Car #78 and the Stewards imposed a 15 second post-Race Time Penalty on Car #78.

Matters from Qualifying Race 1: Race Director Incident Determinations The RD conducted a post-session investigation into incident that was observed at the entry to Turn 4 under Yellow Flag Conditions during Qualifying 1 of Round 2 in the 2018 Dunlop Super2 Series involving multiple Cars including Cars #38 and #8. At the time of the incident Flag Point 3.6 was not displaying the Yellow Flag as a repeater for Turn 4, as was advised would be the case in the Drivers Briefing.
