The State Health Department has advised the school to strongly recommend that a child be totally fever free and free of all flu symptoms for at least 24 hours before returning to school. Students who exhibit symptoms of illness should not be sent to school. Our Health Aide re- serves the right to decide whether the student should remain in school. We would also like to remind parents of the district’s policy of dispensing medication at school. Please read the following guidelines: School personnel will not administer any kind of medication except to students on continued medication who have specific doctor’s orders. Medications must be in the original container and be accompanied by a written note from the student’s doctor and legal guardian. At no time are students allowed to have any kind of medications on their person except when going to the health room or when leaving school. • UNITED STATES of AMERICA, : : Plaintiff, : Civil Action No
UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT FOR THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA ____________________________________ : UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, : : Plaintiff, : Civil Action No. 99-CV-00993 : v. : (Judge Oberdorfer) : CAPSTAR BROADCASTING : CORPORATION, : : and : : : TRIATHLON BROADCASTING : COMPANY : : : : Defendants. : ____________________________________: COMPETITIVE IMPACT STATEMENT The United States, pursuant to Section 2(b) of the Antitrust Procedures and Penalties Act ("APPA"), 15 U.S.C. § 16(b)-(h), files this Competitive Impact Statement relating to the proposed Final Judgment submitted for entry in this civil antitrust proceeding. I. NATURE AND PURPOSE OF THE PROCEEDING The plaintiff filed a civil antitrust Complaint on April 21, 1999, alleging that Capstar Broadcasting Corporation’s (“Capstar”) proposed acquisition of Triathlon Broadcasting Company (“Triathlon”) would violate Section 7 of the Clayton Act, as amended, 15 U.S.C. § 18. The Complaint alleges that Capstar and Triathlon both own and operate radio stations throughout the United States, and that they each own and operate radio stations in the Wichita, Kansas, metropolitan area. Specifically, the complaint alleges that Capstar owns KKRD-FM, KRZZ-FM, and KNSS-AM in Wichita and that Capstar controls approximately 20 percent of the Wichita radio advertising market. The complaint also alleges that Triathlon owns KZSN-FM, KRBB- FM, KEYN-FM, KWSY-FM, KFH-AM, and KQAM-FM in Wichita and controls approximately 33 percent of the radio advertising revenues in the Wichita radio advertising market. The proposed acquisition would give Capstar a significant share of the radio advertising market in Wichita and control over stations that are close substitutes for each other based upon their specific audience characteristics. According to industry estimates, the proposed acquisition would give Capstar control of over 45 percent of the radio advertising revenue -- even after Capstar divests the two lowest ranked FM radio stations pursuant to Federal Communications Commission (“FCC”) regulations.

Progress on Strategic Initiatives Greater Wichita Partnership Mission: TO ALIGN RESOURCES AND FOCUS THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY ON common strategies THAT FAST-FORWARD ECONOMIC GROWTH IN WICHITA AND SOUTH-CENTRAL KANSAS All communities have the opportunity to shape their future. Only a few have the courage and diligence to align strengths, drive deliberate strategies forward and focus on intended outcomes. Let’s celebrate the year one accomplishments in this document and accelerate our collective vision in cultivating a vibrant region. Charlie Chandler & Jeff Turner Co-chairs of the Greater Wichita Partnership Through the vision of the Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce, over 100 private-sector companies came together in 2012 to move economic development forward in our community as the Leadership Council. These business leaders identified six priority areas to cultivate the economic environment. Through success observed in other cities the Council determined in 2015 the next strategic step to build upon this critical foundation was the evolution of the Leadership Council into the Greater Wichita Partnership. Created to expand on existing efforts aimed at making our region more competitive in job creation, talent attraction and capital investment, the Partnership brought together the Greater Wichita Economic Development Coalition (GWEDC) and the Wichita Downtown Development Corporation to develop a unique, holistic approach to community growth. Today, the Partnership serves as the region’s economic steward—cultivating a rich and innovative environment
