Federal downstream, one spillway gate operated at 0700 hours to reduce the level by 2 ft. Downstream population has been alerted. b. Balochistan NTR

On 31 August 2020, 1x house fully damaged reported due

to heavy rains in Bahrain, District Swat. No human loss

reported. Following road are closed due to heavy rains/ landslides: Link roads in Gole, Goas and Gromale washed away, District Lower . C. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shishi-Madaklasht road and Golain access roads District Lower Chitral.

Chital- Booni Mastuj road at Rashun, District Upper Chitral. Kalwat road at Shagram, District Swat. On 1 September 2020, 60 ft breach in Kachi Canal at RD 873 left bank was reported due to flood water of hill torrent entered in canal by overtopping / breaching right bank in District Rajanpur. About 2,500 Cusecs of water is coming out from canal and flowing in natural route of Suri Junobi hill d Punjab torrent. This flood water will pass through natural route near Shahwali town arnd enter in River Indus. All necessary precautionary measures have been taken to safeguard Shahwali city and evacuated some of the low lying areas. On 1 September 2020, High Flood Level observed in Palku

Underpasses on Drig Road, Mohsin Bhoppali. Goli Mar/ Sir Syed, KPT and Gizri have been cleared. Water lodging from DHA phases (1, 2, 2 Ext, 4. 5. 5 Ext, 7 except lane 18 &19) and Community Avenue e. Tents and Tarpaulins distributed among flood

affectees. Electricity in most areas has been restored 550x bedded relief camp at Expo Centre has been

established. Established 50x bedded hospital in SGD Surjani 32x Emergency Medical and 56x Relief Camps established in coordination with Civil Administration in various parts of Karachi. 2x Advance Dressing Stations established at Qayyumabad and Sadi town to provide immediate emergency medical care (Total 3,327 patients examined). Army Mobile Recovery vehicles are deployed at various choke points to shift vehicles struck in flood to keep flow of traffic. Wide spread thunderstorm/ rain with heavy to very heavy falls is expected over the upper catchments of Rivers Kabul & Indus along with Peshawar &Rawalpindi Divisions. Scattered wind-thunderstorm/rain with isolated heavy fallis is expected over the upper catchments of Rivers Jhelum, Chenab, Ravi & Sutlej along with Bannu. Kohat. Rainfall activity is likely to decrease significantly from 5 September 2020. Last 24 hours significant rainfall recorded is attached as Annex B. 8 Weather Advisory/Press Release. Met office informed on 29 August 2020 that a strong rainy system is likely to approach in upper parts of the Country that will produce widespread rain with heavy fall at a number of places in Punjab, Upper KP, GB / AJK during Sunday (evening) to Tuesday (30 August 2020 to 1 September 2020). Under the influence ofthis system: (a) Heavy to Very Heavy falls are also expected in Rawalpindi, Attock. Chakwal. Jhelum Mandi Bahauddin, Hafizabad, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore. Kasur. Okara Faisalabad, Jhang, Sargodha. Mianwali, Khushab, Toba Tek Singh from Monday to Wednesday (31 August 2020 to 2 September 2020). Heavy falls may also likely in Rajanpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan, Bahawalpur, Khanewal, Zhob and Barkhan. (b)) Heavy to Very Heavy falls are also expected in Dir, Swat. Buner. Shangla. Kohistar Haripur, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Peshawar, Charsadda. Swabi, Mardan. Kohat and Kurram from Monday to Wednesday (31 August 2020 to 2 September 2020) (c) Heavy rainfall may generate urban flash flooding and Land Sliding in Vulnerable Arcas from Monday to Tuesday (31 August 2020 to 1 September 2020). 9 Flood Warning / Alert Flood Forecasting Division (FFD), PMD has informed that according to Latest Hydro-Meteorological situation, Monsoon has become active over Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa & Kashmir producing widespread thunderstorm/rains. This weather system is likely to persist over the arcas during next 48 hours (31 August 2020 Page 7 of 9

2 September 2020) with High probability of Heavy to Very Heavy Rainfall in the catchment areas of River Kabul & its Tributaries along with Hill Torrents of D. G.
