Toonverse Channel Concept From: Subwoofer Noivern Category: Kids Channel Format: Web-Channel Name: Toonverse Origin of name: Toon (short form of the word “cartoon”) and Verse(part from the word “universe). Age Targeting: Kids/Teens, sometimes Adults. Slogan: Tis The Place Where Toons Live! 1. How the Idea Came From. I created the idea for the channel due to multiple reasons. 1.Cable TV Decline. Mostly the idea came from due the reasons that cable television is dying. Mostly Cable TV was still alive during early 2010’s, but now is suffering from the ratings drop and show spamming, and pretty much barely anyone nowadays watch TV. 2.The Fall Of The Big 3. Back in a day, the Big 3 known as Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon and Disney Channel were dominating Kids TV during 90’s, 2000’s and pretty much early 2010’s. But what do we have now? Cartoon Network pretty much died during 2014, Nickelodeon died around in middle of 2010’s and Disney died during 2015(likely, I dunno). And I had an idea to create a channel that will fix all of these issues of this legendary trio. 3.Combining Toons From Past And The Future. The reason why many people liked OG Disney/CN/Nickelodeon, is because they created so many cartoons, that people like till this day. From CN the biggest examples are Dexter’s Laboratory, The Powerpuff Girls (The 1998 one, Not the 2016 one), Courage, Cow and Chicken etc. From 2000’s there were also some solid cartoons like Billy and Mandy, Foster’s, Chowder and the list goes on. -

I argue that select episodes of The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes contain representations of hyper-patriotic Americanized superheroes and un- American super villains which work together to teach viewers about dominant ideologies of Americanness and un-Americanness.
