1. The ark inside the Pinkas in Prague. The synagogue was built in 1535 and is no longer in use. The former synagogue is now a memorial to the from the Bohemian lands who were killed in . 2. The walls of the Pinkas synagogue are filled with the names of the Jews from the Bohemian lands who died in the Holocaust. The memorial was created between 1955 and 1960. 3. The arks in the (left) and the Klausen Synagogue (right) in Prague, both of which are now museums that hold old Jewish artifacts. 4. The outside of the Maisel Synagogue in Prague. The synagogue was first built in 1592 but was rebuilt many times. These photos were all taken on Miriam's recent trip to Prague in October, 2019.
