KSK Energy Ventures Limited We are a power project development company in , with track record of developing and operating power plants. We were established in 2001 to capitalize on the emerging opportunities in the Indian power sector and focus on developing, operating and maintaining power projects. We supply power to a combination of industrial and state-owned consumers in India.

KSK Energy Ventures has current interests in various operational power plants capable of generating 2062 MW of power and is currently involved in constructing 3600 MW KSK Mahanadi Power plant that two units of 600 MW each operational and remaining units under various stages of construction Additionally, the group has an exciting portfolio of planned projects across the fuel spectrum.

3,600 MW KSK Mahanadi Power Company Limited, Chhattisgarh - Partial Commissioning

This is a coal based power project approximately 125 kilometers from the Morga II coal block in Chhattisgarh. The original project was a 1,800 MW power project based on coal supplies from the Morga-II coal block by GMDC. With the availability of additional fuel from the Gare Pelma Sector III coal block in Chhattisgarh, the KSK Mahanadi Power Project has been expanded through the fast track development of an additional 1,800 MW of power generation capacity in the same location. This power project of 3600 MW , 6 identical units of 600 MW each is being setup in a single location and is scheduled to be commissioned on a unit-wise basis through 2013 to 2015 The first 600 MW has been commissioned in 2013 and second 600 MW has been commissioned in August 2014.

Fuel Supply: The KSK Mahanadi Power Project will utilize domestic coal as its primary fuel. With the uncertainty on certain underlying coal mine development permissions and progress thereto, in the immediate term the fuel supplies shall consist of

EPC contract: The KSK Mahanadi Power Project has selected Shangdong Electric Power Construction Corporation (SEPCO), a leading EPC contractor from China engaged in power plant design and construction, as the contractor to undertake design, supply and provide engineering and construction services for the KSK Mahanadi power project. Under these agreements, SEPCO has completed part supplies and construction and expected to supply the KSK Mahanadi with necessary equipment and materials and render such services as are required for the plant to generate aggregate power of 3,600 MW.
