Congratulations:-

May I congratulate all the prize winners and kindly ask that they contact me direct via email or PM with their bank details and I will arrange a transfer or if preferred a cheque. Also thank you to all the riders who advised me they could not make it especially those awaiting test results and trust the news there is not positive if you accept my meaning. Likewise I trust the rest enjoyed what is a bit of an old fashioned course and hope you will return for our event on this course in June 2021.

Thanks:-

Firstly can I now please thanks Lt Col Simon Rogers RM for allowing the use of his base as an event HQ and his staff in particular John Smillie for sorting out the on the day procedure’s. Also to the staffs who came in to direct operations and not forgetting the ladies and gents on the main gate.

Secondly I would also like to thank all those who volunteered to stand at the various marshalling points along the route. In particular, John Williams, Sue Gould, Mark and Matthew Templeton, Richard Gillingham and partner, Phil Cross, John Sawers, Stuart Edwards and of course Bex (Mrs Si) and I mustn’t forget my wife Rosemary.

Lastly to the men who timed the event Andy Greatwood and Ray Pollard with whom we would never be able to run an event at all.

Also to the Tom Scorer RNRMCA who working with my wife sorted out some form of refreshments to make the event at least feel it was normal.

Tom Cox
