This publication is part of the Nokia World 2011 Art Pieces Project, held in London, October 2011. This publication illustrates a brief visual history on the sport of cycling. Cycling has a rich and fastinating past, inspirational to many people all around the world. Cycling is a liberating experience. It allows one to adventure, both geographically and metaphorically many challenging places. Cycling is enjoyed everyday by many people in many countries, whether competitively or recreationally. The bicycle represents ‘great’ design in action and is arguably one of the best inventions ever made. The bicycle applies simplicity through function, and displays beauty through various forms.
