Likewise, St. Anthony’s Major Seminary relies upon the Seminary Farm in Kachebere for the food on the tables and a stable source of income to sustain the school. Fr. My medical leave, followed by sabbatical, was like God taking me away from my busy life so that I could concentrate on this work for His people. In January, I moved to a parish in San Antonio to stay with a priest friend of mine. Parish ministry has also opened another wonderful experience of ministering to a people of a different culture and worldview. The people of this parish have welcomed me and embraced me beyond my expectations. This parish experience added to the lessons learned at the Villa. I have realized that a priest can be welcomed everywhere as long as he approaches the people with faith and love coupled with some humility.
