Each year we serve approximately 15,000 school-age children, 2,100 preschoolers and over 1,400 adults. LIU services extend to a 2,194 square mile area defined by twenty-five school districts and two technical schools in Adams, Franklin and York counties. Among the programs we operate are Special Education (including testing/evaluation, teaching and transportation), Adult Education, Curriculum Development, Planning/Development, Staff Development, Educational Services, Educational Technology Services, Language Instruction Education Services, mandated services to Nonpublic Schools, Management Services (including Joint Purchasing) and the Lincoln Benefit Trust. The Lincoln Intermediate Unit is governed by a 13-member Board of Directors, each a member of a local school board. Local school districts have additional influence on LIU operations through the LIU Superintendents Advisory Council, the Special Education Advisory Council, the Joint Purchasing Board, In- service and Curriculum Councils and an Instructional Technology Services Advisory Council. This directory lists the names, professional addresses and telephone numbers of schools and administrative staff within the twenty-five (25) school districts, two technical schools, nonpublic schools and charter schools served by Lincoln Intermediate Unit 12. 2 LINCOLN INTERMEDIATE UNIT 12 PDE Adm.
