The “MLB Entities” shall mean the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball (“BOC”), its Bureaus, Committees, Subcommittees and Councils, MLB Advanced Media, L.P. (“MLBAM”), Major League Baseball Properties, Inc., The MLB Network, LLC, the Major League Baseball Clubs (“Clubs”), each of their parent, subsidiary, affiliated and related entities, any entity which, now or in the future, controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with the Clubs or the BOC, and the owners, general and limited partners, shareholders, directors, officers, employees and agents of the foregoing entities. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. In the event that the Sweepstakes is challenged by any regulatory authority, Sponsor reserves the right to discontinue or modify the Sweepstakes or to disqualify participants in the affected geographic areas. WINNER SELECTION & NOTIFICATION: The potential winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible Entries received by Sponsor. Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding. Potential winners will be required to confirm their name and mailing address to Big Lots via email within 24 hours of notification. Prizes will be awarded within one week after all winners are verified. Noncompliance will result in disqualification and an alternative potential winner may be selected from among all remaining eligible Entries. If a selected potential winner fails to claim the prize or if a selected potential winner cannot accept or receive the prize for any reason, or he/she is not eligible or otherwise in compliance with these Official Rules, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate potential winner may be randomly selected from among all 2 | Page remaining eligible Entries at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Sponsor and the applicable MLB Entities reserve the right to remove or to deny entry to the first prize winner and/or his/her guests who engage(s) in a non- sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person at the game, event or exhibition. Released Parties (defined below) will not be responsible for weather conditions, Acts of God, acts of terrorism, civil disturbances, work stoppage or any other natural disaster outside their control that may cause the cancellation or postponement of any Major League Baseball game, event or exhibition. Major League Baseball game, event and exhibition tickets awarded as prizes may not be resold or offered for resale or used for any commercial or promotional purpose whatsoever. Any such resale or commercial or promotional use may result in disqualification and first prize forfeiture, and may invalidate the license granted by the game, event or exhibition tickets. Winners are responsible for all federal, provincial, state, local and income taxes associated with winning prize(s). Winners acknowledge that the Sponsor, the MLB Entities and all other businesses affiliated with or participating in this Sweepstakes and their agents do not make, nor are in any manner responsible for any warranty, representations, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative the quality, conditions, fitness or merchantability of any aspect of any prize (or portion thereof) being offered, except that each merchandise prize shall be subject to its manufacturer’s standard warranty (if any).
