Kerala Backwaters Tour 5 Nights / 6 Days Cochin - Alleppey - Kovalam – Trivandrum Day 1: Cochin - After arriving at the International Airport in Cochin, meet our representative who’ll escort you to the hotel. Check - in at the hotel. Spend the rest of the d ay relaxing at the hotel. Enjoy the overnight stay at the hotel. Day 2: Cochin - After enjoying early breakfast, start your day visiting major tourist destinations which include the St. Francis Church, Dutch Palace and Jewish Synagogue in Cochin. Also vis it Chinese Fishing net a major tourist attraction. In the evenings take a walk to the market for enjoying shopping extravaganza. Retire for the night at the hotel. Day 3: Cochin - Alleppey - Wake up early in the morning to proceed to Alleppey by road, aft er breakfast. Upon reaching Alleppey, Check - in to a Houseboat and cruise along the famous backwaters of Alleppey - Kumarakom enjoying the majestic scenery. Witness the sunset on this floating villa. Overnight stay at the houseboat. Day 4: Alleppey - Kovala m - On the 4th day, after checkout from the houseboat move towards Kovalam. On arrival at Kovlam check - in at the hotel. After resting and relaxing for a while move out for an excursion to Kovalam Beach. The beach presents you to have a fun filled evening in the lap of Mother Nature. Night at hotel. Day 5: Kovalam - Trivandrum - After breakfast , head for a sightseeing trip of Trivandrum which includes places like Science and Technology Museum, Veli Tourist village, Shangmugham Beach, Museum Complex, Padmana bha Swamy Temple and Aakulam boat club. Spend the night in the hotel at Trivandrum. Day 6: Trivandrum - In the morning after breakfast, transfer to airport for catching flight for the onward journey. .

Four variables have been considered for evaluating the quality of life of the stakeholders of ecotourism sites, which is then funneled to the income-education spectrum for hypothesizing into the SLI framework. Zone-wise analysis of the community members working in tourism sector shows that the community members have benefited totally from tourism development in the region as they have got both employments as well as secured livelihood options. Most of the quality of life-indicators of the community in the eco-tourist centres show a promising position. The community perception does not show any negative impact on environment as well as on their local culture.
