WELCOME Welcome to the Whitefish High School Team! We are prepared to support and assist our students as they navigate toward a career path that will bring them personal gratification and fulfillment. There will be challenges along the way, but know that our staff takes great pride in being available to help our students in their time of need. Our students are valued members of our organization and we appreciate and respect the diversity and uniqueness each student contributes to our school. We are excited about the opportunity to deliver a curriculum and educational experience that includes subject matter that aligns with some personal interests and also possesses a level of rigor and relevance that will prepare students to be successful in school and in life. We believe that high standards and high expectations lead directly to personal success and high levels of academic achievement. We are committed to the preservation of a school climate that prioritizes the character traits of Integrity, Scholarship, Compassion and Respect. We believe these traits are pillars of personal conduct and that they also promote a school culture that values all people, their contributions and will also maintain a safe, comfortable and conducive learning environment for all. The Whitefish High School Student Handbook contains information about protocols and procedures that all students need to know. The handbook is organized alphabetically by topic. Throughout the handbook, the term “the student’s parent” is used to refer to the parent, legal guardian, or other person who has agreed to assume school- related responsibility for a student. It is the responsibility of each WHS student to read and comply with the policies listed in this handbook. Please direct any questions or concerns to any WHS administrator or counselor.
