Offshoot from LIFE • Mycoplasma Genatalium, Differentiated Ureaplasma species and pregnancy outcome • To determine the relationship between Vaginal infection with mycoplasma genitalium, Ureaplsma and adverse pregnancy outcomes (spontaneous abortion and preterm birth) MILES (Mobility and Independent Living among Elders Study) • 564 men and women (60 years and more) recruited in 2011 • To examine longitudinally age related chronic conditions and mobility impairment, among Indian older population • Various measures of mobility, physical function, pQCT, carotid ultrasound, vision, hearing, cognitive function, etc. • Completed 3rd year follow up, now planning 4th year follow up visit. TETRA – CHW led intervention • Technology Enabled Community Health Worker led intervention to reduce CVD burden. • Low cost point of care devices and tablet for CHW and telemedicine to facilitate HTN and DM identification and treatment. • Partly funded by HP foundation. Dengue projects • Dengue Sero-prevelance among adults in a outpatient clinic setting. (Completed) • DNG 10: Sero-prevelance of dengue IgG among children 5-10 years in the Medchal area. (Completed) • DNG 09: Prospective community based incidence study of symptomatic dengue in the Shamirpet population.
