An inter-school Borgeet competition was held at Shrimanta Shankar Academy Senior Secondary School, Dispur on 21st April 2018 in memory of the founder president of the institution Late Bina Chowdhury. Students from 19 schools participated in the competition. The judges included eminent Borgeet exponents Khona Das, Ananta Ojah and Krishna Akangsha Konwar of class 9 has participated in KAI Cadet, Power Fitness Competition : Idnan Ahmed of class 9 bagged Goswami.
