This event is open to dogs four (4) months of age or older which are American Kennel Club registered breeds in the Miscellaneous Group and to all approved Foundation Stock (FSS) breeds. No Champions of Record may compete in an Open Show. Professional handlers are not permitted to exhibit in Open Shows. Professional handlers are defined according to the Rules Applying to Dog Shows Chapter 3, Section 7. Refer to Chapter 2 of the Registration and Discipline Rules for the listing of breeds that may participate. No dog shall be judged if it is taped, bandaged, glued or stitched anywhere including ears or tail in any way or has anything attached to it for medical purposes. JUDGE

In order to cut cost for our exhibitors, we have lowered the price of Reserved Day of Show Parking to $59.00 for a Regular Vehicle & $90.00 for Box Vans & Larger Vehicles. We have an increased number of Reserved Day of Show parking spaces available this year. Please remember that buying a Reserved Day of Show Parking Pass allows you in & out privileges as many times a day as needed with no additional parking charges.

Please make your reservations early.

Dogs are NOT ALLOWED in any landscaped area at the EXPO Center or the lawn or shrubs in the complex across North Force Ave or around the sidewalk area on the north side of the EXPO Center. Failure to observe these rules may result in an Event hearing. Outdoor exercise pens will be provided. Everyone using this facility is expected to keep & leave the area clean. All vehicles must vacate the premises no later than one hour following Best in Show Sunday, January 19, 2014. NO OVERNIGHT PARKING on Sunday night. All regular vehicles will take only one space. Box vans & larger vehicles can take one & a half spaces.

Dachshunds (longhaired, smooth, wirehaired), Bull (colored, whited), Manchester Terriers (standard, toy), Chihuahuas (smooth coat, long coat), English Toy (King Charles and Ruby, Blenheim and Prince Charles), (toy, miniature, standard), (rough, smooth). 2. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed completion: Dogs that are Champions of Record and dogs which, according to their owner’s records, have completed the requirements of a championship, but whose championships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show were the dog completed the requirements for a championship. 3. (Event Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the event class in which you are entering your dog is divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e., age division, color division, weight division. 4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for the event closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner, it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any event for which entries closed after the dat of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his name. State on the entry form whether transfer application has been mailed to the AKC. (For complete rules refer to Chapter 11, Section 3). 5. Mixed Breed dogs entering classes for Agility, Obedience and Rally Trials should mark Breed as AKC Canine Partners Listed Dog “All-American Dog/Mixed Breed.” Variety, Breeder, Sore, Dam information shall remain blank for mixed Breed entrants.
